My boyfriend just bought this, since it was on sale. I didn’t think much of it, BUT this little laptop has a good processing speed. He bought it for his job, where he submits photos, does report reviews and make appointments . He is able to multi task on it . I would say up to 6 tabs before it starts processing a little slower, such as loads longer for documents or pages to load. It’s lightweight and a good size to fit in any tote/backpack . He carries it with him and the battery lasts a while. I would say this is a good purchase for anyone who needs it for basic needs, even to watch YouTube , movies or just browsing on the internet.

I’m very happy with this laptop. It’s fast, lightweight, and perfect for everyday tasks like browsing, work, and streaming. The screen quality is sharp, the battery lasts for several hours, and it runs smoothly without issues. Definitely a great value for the price.

Runs smoothly. Sometimes has connection hiccups but nothing too bad. Battery life lasts but if you use while charging it takes longer to finish, doesn't hold as long when done. For the price its good and helps with small daily tasks.

I bought this mainly to check my emails and watch online tutorials while I'm travelling. It's not a gaming laptop by any means, but it's nice enough for its intended purpose. You might want to consider something with more RAM and faster processing speeds if you plan to do more than watch tutorials or Netflix.
It's very lightweight, and the battery lasts a few hours when fully charged.

Bearing in mind that this is a very basic entry-level laptop, the performance of the HP dq3000dx was still a little disappointing for my needs. The price is very economical if you intend to use it for light tasks, like reading or sending an occasional email, or typing up a letter, or very light web surfing. I don’t recommend it for gaming or long video play because of the lagging and buffering I experienced. I’m sure the lag in overall performance is due to it only processing at 1.1 GHz and having 4GB of RAM, which isn’t that much in today’s world.
Set up out of the box took about two and a half hours, but the majority of that time was updates installing. It comes with Windows S-mode, which I left alone instead of turning it off to be able to install other apps like I’d intended. I didn’t want to bog the system down any further.
The white color of the casing is nice, and I like that the keyboard has a light wood grain look to it even though it’s plastic. I would prefer that the keyboard was backlit though because the keys are very difficult to see without light. I miss the numeric keypad also, but it didn’t surprise me that this laptop doesn’t have one.
It’s great that HP included a USB C port, HDMI port, and an SD card slot in addition to the standard USB A ports and headphone jack. The laptop also comes with the typical HP power cord and port. Battery life seems to be averaging about 5-7 hours before needing a charge. I wasn’t able to get 12 hours of video playing like the specs say, but I’ll say that it has good battery life considering how slow the overall performance of the machine is.
This laptop may be ideal for a younger child as a first computer or someone that may only need to get online periodically, but I don’t recommend it for anyone that doesn’t have a lot of patience.

I got this as a Christmas gift for a person who has even less computer skills than me which I didn't think was possible but it's easy to set up does everything that we need it's still working today and I would recommend it first anybody that just needs it to look things up order stuff online to pay your bills that's what I use it for I imagine it's capable of doing many other things but at my age and my computer skills I'm happy I can turn the thing on but as far as I'm concerned it's a it's a really nice computer laptop

Great product for the price. Didn't need a fancy laptop - just something to use daily for emails and budgeting, etc. Light and sleek - this laptop meets basic daily needs very nicely.

Good for the price. Runs a little slower than other computers. Videos and pictures are a bit pixelated and blurry; not as clear as a MacBook. But decent for the price. Relatively easy to navigate. Works better once all updates have been completed. Has all the basic essentials.

I love the color I picked, the laptop works just great, and the size is just perfect to move around with and do my work. I will definitely recommend anyone to buy this laptop.
memory space may not be enough for running Window.

The machine is running ok except its memory space probably is too small for Windows. I have not installed any app and/or created any file yet but browsing the internet, and created a restore point. I was already warned of low in memory. My previous iPhone was 64GB ad I used it many years, and installed tens of apps without the memory space problem.

Purchased for school purposes. I’m not a fan of the screen resolution and the speed. It got the job done for finishing school, submitting work, and even personal yse
