Solid, fast i3 processor, SSD, Win 10, McAfee to hold you until you can buy your preferred protection, start using it out of the box. Have to buy MS Office separately, be sure to look carefully at the packages offered (upfront buy-out vs MS 365). Great buy!

My daughter is taking some on-line college courses and needed a laptop to view video lectures. We did not want to spend a lot, but wanted quality. hP has always been our choice for computer. We got this and had it up and going within 15 minutes. Bee are very satisfied.

Light and compact with enough speed and memory. The price is great and hp is a reliable brand. It has s mode for security, so I was told you don't need added security of webroot. Also if you add it you can't use the Microsoft browser. Not sure if I was advised correctly.

I have always liked HP computers, and this one is no exception. It's small and lightweight, but fast and powerful, and the price was reasonable. The only thing it is missing is the 10-key pad, but that's to be expected with the smaller size.

I really like this computer, especially since I’m a college student and I need a laptop that gets the job done and that I can reply on this computer worrying about any technical issues or anything in that sort. I love it!!,And it’s really affordable.

Awesome laptop would give an even higher review if it had a larger hard drive and a little more ram but for what it's used for which is writing and just basic web use it's perfect and I have a 2 terabyte that plugs right in so it's great

Was looking for a laptop that could help me with work on excel, web browse, and use for my car tuning. Screens got a nice gloss so its a bit reflective out doors.. but screen and resolution looks great indoors. Battery life is great, no cd drive which is great for me since i want something light weight. Fan is super quiet, i added more ram so it really does everything that i needed for very well. It looks modern and not an older feel. Everythings been softer around the edges.

Only issue I have is I would like the keys on the keyboard to be raised higher so i can avoid typing mistakes. For this reason, I would have bought a Lenovo. If I had waited 2 weeks, I could had a Lenovo for the same price.

After reading several reviews about the computer being slow I still bought it. Mostly because when I asked store associate she said it is known to be slow usually when several tabs are open and using various apps. And that was not my plan, I was going to stick to 1 program. After 3 weeks of having it the internet is extremely slow and it kicks me off internet every few minutes. Seriously dont recommend this computer. In addition it comes with the S mode and wasnt able to connect the plug and play printer. Spent 2 hrs chatting online with HP trying to get it working and finally said it can't be done with S mode. If I do not return it, surely I will have to switch it out of S mode.

I dislike typing on the keyboard. Probably just haven't acquired the feel of it yet. I have no idea how to surf through the different programs. I was told McGaffe was installed but it keeps asking me to download my protection. Confused.

I got this specifically for a new job which didn't work out for me. I loved the lightweight feel and how effortlessly it performed. Unfortunately, since I didn't get the job, I had to return it. Great laptop for under $300.

Neither great nor terrible, this laptop is exactly what I expected at its price point. It would be great for a casual user or, in my case, someone who needed a spare laptop for testing.

Overall we are very happy with the laptop but it certainly has limitations. The screen size is a bit small and the limited RAM puts a significant limit on the number of windows open. For the price and purpose, this is a great laptop.

I don't require a whole lot but wanted to upgrade for bluetooth capabilities and the solid state 128GB is plenty. Like screen resolution, it's quick, and size is just right. Great price at Best Buy, glad I grabbed it.

Son needed a laptop for remote learning and doing work on line. This computer fit the bill and has worked well with no issues. Battery is decent but speed is good. Excellent value.

Start up is fast and the storage area is good enough to handle multiple open applications. Extra data storage is recommended but if you are just working office and school work, it will be just fine. Not so heavy too.

Brought this computer for the kids to do homework ..... Has been a good, solid, reliable computer ..... would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable computer

Has what you need and works great! I have always bought the most expensive, but this Laptop has worked just as well if not better and for 2-300 dollars less. Definitely would recommend it.

I like thiancomputer because is light, it doesn't come with all the adds to make it slower,pretty fast and does basic work. Just navigate through the internet and a few office tasks. Happy with my purchase.

Needed a new laptop for class; works great and haven't had any problems so far. I definitely recommend this laptop for those who don't want to spend an arm and a leg on one!
