Everything I need and nothing I don’t! All I need is the internet and basic word processing stuff and I don’t want a ton of stuff I would never use and this fits the bill.

If you're looking for a laptop to do the absolute bare minimum (for low workloads), then this is a good budget laptop. The screen quality might seem odd if you're used to higher resolutions. Overall, it's a good laptop for basic work and has enough space for leisure activities like social media and streaming platforms.

I Really enjoy my new HP laptop but I didnt realize how small it was until now got it home. HP is an excellent brand though so I’m still happy I got it.

The computer itself works fine, but there is some misleading marketing going on here. HP has content on this computer indicating that it comes with a year of free microsoft 365. It shows up in the store as being there as well. However there is no apparent way to activate it. In digging into it, it says the code should have been on the Best Buy receipt. After an extended chat with best buy was transferred to supervisor and have had a spinning wheel with no response from them now for 45 min. So this will be a case of HP and Best Buy advertising something and then pointing fingers.

A basic laptop for simple uses. Email, web, Bluetooth/WiFi. However, it cannot handle tasks like syncing two monitors. The laptop only has one HDMI output. I thought that my docking station would work, but it doesn’t. I have since purchased three (one from a local tech store; one directly from HP; and one from Best Buy), and all three failed.

We got this laptop for our kid that is still in school and about to go to college this fall, so having this laptop is the best way to go for several reasons.
The HP Laptop arrived well packaged and right out of the box, it looks great, and it is compact as well as lightweight yet powerful.
We like that this laptop comes with Microsoft Windows 11 in S Mode. To us it means faster, better protected and runs smoothly.
Setting up the computer is easy and it can be done while charging it.
We also like that it has Microsoft Copilot, so with AI as an assistant is very helpful on everyday tasks as well as getting help with different types of projects.
As for speed, it is very fast and best of all it can multitask easily without slowing down and it is very quiet too.
As for the screen, it is antiglare and brings out vivid colors from both photos and videos and everything in between and it does not have that shinny reflection on the screen.
The battery life was a necessity and this laptop exels in the battery life, not only does it charge fast, it lasts a very long time.
I do like that it does have Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 6 so it is fast and secured, we can connect earbuds, as well as wireless speakers and it does it well.
And when listening to music or podcasts from its speakers, it sounds good.
We tested the laptop on a video call and it worked well both using earbuds and also the laptop on its own, since it does have an HD camera and good noise reduction technology, both ends can enjoy a good quality video as well as sound.
As for ports, it comes with the most used ones; multi format SD card reader is a big plus since our kid likes to take pictures, uploading them to the laptop is easy, either via Bluetooth or with this card reader.
It does come with headphone/microphone combo in case you want to use them via wired, and they can be connected wirelessly too. It comes with two USB A and one USB C so it is good, I did wish it was the other way around, two USB C and one USB A. And if we want to connect another screen, it can be connected using the HDMI.
Overall, it is a versatile laptop that brings security, as well as a great battery life for everyday use.
It only weights 3.24lbs and it is .71 inches thin and it boots up fast. Lastly it is a good HP laptop that is versatile, secured and ready to take on everyday tasks.

I’ve been on the hunt for a laptop that perfectly balances portability, performance for everyday tasks, and—let's be honest—jaw-dropping aesthetics. The HP 14-inch Laptop (Intel Processor N150, 4GB Memory, 128GB UFS) in Pale Rose Gold not only met those expectations—it completely exceeded them. This machine is a game-changer for students, light professionals, and anyone who needs a reliable companion on the go.
Style and Portability (A 10/10):
The moment I unboxed the Pale Rose Gold finish, I was sold. It’s elegant, unique, and has a premium feel that belies its affordable price point. At 14 inches, it strikes the perfect chord—big enough for comfortable multitasking and media consumption, but incredibly thin and light enough to toss into a backpack without a second thought. The design is sleek and modern and draws compliments wherever I take it.
Performance and Value:
The combination of the next-generation Intel Processor N150 and the 128GB UFS (Universal Flash Storage) is a brilliant choice for this category. Windows boots up in seconds, and my daily workflow—web browsing with multiple tabs, managing email, and working on documents—is fluid and responsive. The 4GB of memory is optimized perfectly for these tasks, delivering a smooth, frustration-free user experience. For a budget-friendly laptop, the responsiveness is outstanding, making it a fantastic value investment.
Pros and Cons:
Pros Cons
The gorgeous pale rose gold finish looks premium and sophisticated. 4GB RAM is perfect for everyday use, but advanced power users will need more.
Incredibly fast boot-up and load times thanks to the 128GB UFS storage. The 14" display is clear and bright, but a higher resolution would be a bonus for graphic-intensive tasks.
Excellent Battery Life easily gets me through a full day of classes or meetings. Limited storage capacity means I rely on cloud services, but this is a necessary trade-off for speed and cost.
The lightweight and portable design is perfect for daily travel.
Final Verdict: A Top-Tier Everyday Laptop within the budget

I bought this HP 14″ laptop mainly for everyday use emails, YouTube, Zoom calls, and documents and it does exactly what I need it to. It’s lightweight, portable, and the pale rose gold color is really pretty in person. It starts up quickly, and the battery lasts me through most of the day.
The only downsides are the limited memory and storage — with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB UFS, it can slow down if you have too many tabs or apps open, and space fills up fast. The screen is decent but not super bright, and I wouldn’t use it for anything heavy like gaming or editing.
Overall, it’s a great budget laptop for students, travelers, or anyone who just needs a reliable everyday computer. I’d recommend upgrading storage later or keeping your files in the cloud.
