This computer meets most of my needs. I have been an Apple user for many years. My Apple password was hacked and so was my MacBookPro less than one year old. Even with proof of purchase from Best Buy the hackers did something that Apple would not restore my computer, so I refused to buy another Apple product. This has features that my Apple laptop doesn’t have. It’s taken some getting use to, but great computer for price.

Very easy to use. Light weight, fits in backpack for traveling.

Good power in laptop. Screen quality is smooth and rich in color. Responsive touch screen. Sound is decent with speakers underneath but on the sides so it doesn't sound muffled. The fan is underneath and heat can be felt if laptop is directly on lap, although it doesn't seem to run hot so it's minimal. Compact size and light weight is convenient. Also great to have full keyboard features.

Great quality, quiet, and sleek looking with the option to hide your camera. I also love the numeric pad on the side! only problem is the over heating to quick but other than that its great!

Great computer, I am using it for my undergraduate studies and it is the best! Big screen but not heavy.

Love my laptop and so do everyone else i brought this as a gift to myself but doesn't get much use out of it because someone else always using it. From what am being told everything on is good all of the apps

I chose HP because my old HP "Bose Special Edition" lovely red laptop could not be upgraded from Windows 10. I'm optimistic this new HP laptop will be as great and longterm enough workhorse. We bought 2 so that my husband and i have the same models and can more readily help each other out with setup and updates. We're not gamers, we're retired so, no business apps required, but Microsoft is a hog about forcing you into things that are not easy to disable or remove when you don't need or want them (e.g., Onecloud). We like our 2016 desktop Office suite and want nothing to do with Ofc 365 for our needs, and all the apps that used to be independent of MS...now that they're MS-owned and imbedded (like Skype), we don't want that anymore either. On the positive side, huge improvement over our aging laptops. Still working out kinks to better personalize, but seriously, that Onedrive in pathnames, is soooo annoying. I like the camera privacy screen having both physical and control panel disable/enable capabilities. I wish I'd noticed this model doesn't have a back-lit keyboard, and we would have preferred 1TB storage, which wasnt an option through Best Buy, although HP offers that option if you customize a build through HP. Overall, since our MS hurdles and annoyances of not being able to easily de-select what we don't want is likely inherent on all new Windows 11 platforms, we're so far pleased with our new laptops. No comment on battery life since the occasion hasn't been tested.

Got this laptop for my freshman year and over all it is spacious! I love the split screen / touch screen because the laptop is large it is really effcient when I’m doing assignments. Only negative thing is that the audio isnt as loud as I would expect it to be ? But it still workes pretty well. No issues apart from a little chip on the computer. Would recommend to other college students doing math heavy course such as accounting, finance , and economics. Its also good for the other majors as well

My daughter got this in preparation for college. It has everything she needs, but doesn’t hold a charge more than a couple of hours though it advertises as a nine hour battery.

Great product loads and processing is super easy and fast. It was definitely worth every dollar i spent.

My new HP laptop is incredible and I did enroll in the Geek Squad support help program so feel really good about that. I had a great experience at the Best Buy Downers Grove location. Super helpful and knowledgeable staff. I felt really good about my laptop selection. I will return for any other electronic needs.
