Complete Motherboard Failure within 24 Hours

When I first got it everything was perfect; albeit a little slow. I loved the size and weight of the computer and the fact that it was big enough to have an actual number keypad, as I do a lot of 10 keying. However, within less than 24 hours of receiving and turning this laptop on the screen went black, the CAPS key started blinking, and the cooling fan get extremely loud. HP wanted to charge me over $60 in shipping with a turn-around time of approximately three months to fix/replace it. Best Buy's customer service representatives were AMAZING! They gave me several different options and let me decide what was best for my situation. Considering I had a test and homework due I couldn't wait the two weeks for a replacement, otherwise I would've given this laptop another shot as I liked it so much before it crapped out on me. Could've just been a single defective laptop, could be the whole line, I have no idea. Giving three stars because of how great Best Buy handled the situation and how much I enjoyed the laptop before it went into complete failure. Please note that my recommendation and breakdown on quality, value, and ease of use are based off of performance before failure.

Fast and does what I need it for

I love that it doesn't crash on me every time a plane goes overhead my house. The old laptop I had crashed every single time a plane came through, which is often around here, and I was just annoyed with it. Excellent laptop for any use and definitely recommend

Worst Laptop I Ever Owned

Started out well, but now as I write this review I got the Not Responding error message and the laptop automatically exited Bestbuy website. Tried every HP diagnostic tool installed, disk cleanup of temporary, windows temporary, disk optimization, uninstalling unused programs which only improves performance for about three days. Sometimes it takes up to 45 minutes just to boot up. For a so-called gaming laptop, it has to be the worst.
