Bought this new computer for my husband who always received the "old one." He needed an up-to-date Windows 10 with more speed and storage for the activities he now enjoys doing. He likes the reliability and ease of doing things on his own computer!

Bought for my college age daughter. She loves it! Fills all of her college needs, as well as the many hours she spends listening to music and watching Youtube videos.

Works great for school work. Nice amount of storage. Enough ram and processing power for basic multitasking. It's hard to beat it's performance at this price point.

Mom (82) is pleased to receive her new laptop. Figuring out the new OS and the joys of new technologies remain an obstacle but she'll get there. She enjoys staying in touch with 'her people' and that itself gives Mom the drive to succeed.

I'm glad my wife is using this laptop because I wouldn't be able to stand it. The TouchPad has the cursor all over the place. It's very hard to control. She keeps showing me the Yahoo home page when she 1st starts it up. It's not connected to the router. She has to shut down Yahoo & restart it. Every time. The screen size will change sometimes when she moves the cursor across the page. Then it's ALT - or + to get it back to the proper size. Frustrating.

Easy to use and light weight. Battery time could be a little more but works just fine.

Overall we are quite satisfied with our HP laptop. The setup is quick and user friendly. The processor speed seems to be ok, we do however only use this for word processing and online-based programs for business purposes. Would be a great product for a beginner or someone using smaller applications.

i have had this a little over a month and called geek squad 3 times (iam glad i them in my pkg)the geek squad is very good a teaching stuff also nice job!

I bought this computer because the price was so low, I thought how bad could it be? But the computer was slow, and the fan worked very hard even when the computer was running fairly simple tasks. Also, the keyboard has an unusual design.

This was our first Windows 10 computer for work. The first thing I did was transfer all of our work files to the new computer. During this time I noted that the processor was extremely slow. I then transported it from work to home in a book bag and the lid scratched. Less than 30 days after purchase, the screen stopped working. I took it into Best Buy and they would not accept the return because the lid had scratches. This computer was easily both my worst computer purchase in the last 10+ years (for 'new' tech) and my worst Best Buy experience after being denied a return within the return period for a non-functioning product. This isn't entry level, it's just cheap and it's built cheap and runs cheap.

All functions are good except one: can not connect to hotspot. I was unable to register new laptop. I returned the item to a store. Regular WiFi was connectable.My problem is i need to use hotspot for certain time.Problem may be caused by computer hardware or the new Windows 10 os. Windows 10 is very new. So accesrories may not be compatible with Windows 10. This is my personal guess. I did see some of the notices of peripheral manufacturers: system requirement: Window XP, Window visita, Window 7, Window 8. Windows 10 was not mentioned. Although I mark not recommend to a friend but would be yes if anyone does not have the problem as mine.

Great laptop. Easy to use. I use it for everyday things like searching the internet and doing things for my small business. I would definitely recommend it.

I bought this computer on the reputation and past experience of always owning a HP computer. I am very disappointed with this one. The price was also appealing at the time. I never thought that HP would put a computer that locks up often and is very slow on the market like this one. I'm constantly cleaning my files out hoping that there is something making work this slow to no avail. I guess I learned a lesson on this one, spend a little more money and get something that works with the larger programs on the market now.
