My daughter has really enjoyed this laptop. She does work for school and watches Netflix on it.

Good stuff if all you want to do this email, watch videos and DVDs, listen to music, edit and create documents, etc. I'm happy with this product and HP doesn't go wrong anyways so there you have it!

I bought this laptop for school because 3 of my classes were online. Really ease to use, nice size screen... The only negative would be the resolution isn't the best so viewing pictures or watching movies is not really true color and its a little blurry. Still a great one for the price.

I wasn't sure which laptop to buy, but this one turned out to be a star. It's fast, and has everything I need for my online classes. Runs multiple programs at one with no problems. Good buy overall.

I brought this for my friend. That's what she was looking for. Price was the reason she chose it.

I needed to replace a Toshiba laptop, and Best Buy had a basic Toshiba and HP for the same price. I chose the HP because of a special bundle with an HP printer. I'm disappointed that HP is married to Microsoft, and the computer won't let me download Google Chrome, which I have grown to like with other computers. Otherwise, it functions well.

I have high speed internet,but this is a very slow computer.

Computer is basic,but very good for what it is needed for. Very decent operating system and enough space with the 500GB of hard drive

Returned the laptop one week later approximately because we were unable to log in. The geek squad rep showed no interest in wanted to fix the problem, mainly suggesting that I should take it home and do the factory reset myself. I was told if something happens within 10 days I should return the laptop. 1 1/2 weeks later we are unable to get on the Internet through wifi. It took a week to return the laptop but we were dealing with the death of my grandfather and that took priority. When my daughter return it because I was out of the country for the funaral, geek squad said that there were 2 security apps on the laptop and that could be the why we were unable to get wifi. Knowing this he was still unable to fix the problem. This is a one month old computer and I have had to return it twice. So I asked to speek to a manager, I stated my case and I was told that she will look into it and will me back. When she did call me back I felt like I was no longer a customer but a criminal that had to be reprimanded. I was told that even though I returned the laptop before I would still need to pay for any service geek squad preformed on it. I said that made know sense at all, if I had already returned the product once before why should I have to pay to fix a month old computer. While I was desperately trying to make her understand my point of view she on the other hand had heard enough. She asked me to stop talking. She said that I was not letting her finish a sentence. More and more she became more hostile and in all honesty I returned in kind. At one point we were both talking over each other. I admit that I myself did not handle this the best I could. I am sure trying to figure this out while dealing with a death of a family member was not a good idea. What I am sure of is that I was an honest customer who purchased a laptop for his daughter and has not received the product I purchased.

The laptop is used for basic internet searches, facebook, and youtube. It is also used for email and basic documents. it is a great value computer. I do not play games on it but the video is fine, not great. If you are looking for a decent priced computer that will get the basics done, this one is perfect.

we bought this for a senior in the family and it's good for emails and simple surfing and things. Easy to set up, nice crisp monitor.
