Just purchased this Laptop yesterday and Im super excited!!! The laptop was on Sale for $499 which was a plus. Does everything I need it to do! 12 g of Ram makes this Laptop super fast!!!! Lots of storage space which is a plus. There is no backlight but It’s touch screen so that’s even better!!! I would totally recommend this computer. I had to take mine out of S mode because I wanted to play Sims 4. Over all a Great laptop. Going back to buy one for my mom

I’ve had this laptop since 2020. I absolutely love how it’s holding up. It’s still in new condition and i use it everyday. I haven’t had any issues with it. Came back into my purchase history to find it, so i can get one for my brother as school gets ready to start. Thought i would leave a review while I’m at it.

So I really wanted to love this laptop. It was fast, easy to set up, and easy to use. I didn’t have any problem with the sound (it was not loud and I didn’t hear any fan at all).
But, the display left much to be desired. No matter how I angled the device, it was either too light or the quality was not great. I wanted to be okay with that, but I couldn’t get over the screen quality. I even tried to “fix” it using tips and trips from YouTube. A no go.
I returned it today to order the HP 2-in-1 with mainly the same specs, but a Full HD screen.
The display didn’t work for me but if you need a good laptop within your budget, this will work.

I bought two of these laptops for my kids for school and roblox. They love them. They work great for their needs. Touch screen is also a plus!
I added google chrome and disney + to them, which was easy to do. The computer automatically tells you to change out of S mode if you want Chrome on it.
Overall, you can't beat the price!!

Got this computer for school, needed it for google meets and zooms, the camera and mic works well. Another plus for me is it runs my casual games pretty well. Minecraft is kinda laggy but with adjusted specs it is fine! It runs super fast for my everyday needs. I actually disabled the touchscreen since I was just looking for a regular computer, this is a great laptop for students going into college and the design is sleek and nice!

Picked this up as part of the "daily deal" for under $500. ZERO complaints at this price point. The machine is fast, quiet, and looks great. Crisp, clear screen. The SSD also provides very quick load times. Loving this new laptop for my wife.

I’m an online college student and needed a pretty standard laptop for school. This is perfect for that! The speed is excellent and there’s plenty of storage. It also has a clean look and, in my opinion, isn’t too big and isn’t too small. My only complaint is about the S mode feature. With this on, you cannot access certain apps. This is a Microsoft protection feature. So, you cannot have Netflix downloaded as an app but you can go to its website and watch it there. This can be turned off. However, it’s a one time thing. I highly recommend doing research before opting out of that.

When I bought this, the reviews said the computer was basically so-so. I think it depends on what computer you're used to.
For me this is a high powered, sleek-looking computer. I've always been cheap when buying laptops but wanted to get into video editing so chose this, (to me $500 is not cheap). Filmora runs great and I have a program called PhotoScapeX to edit my scanned-in paintings.
Still getting used to
a) the huge amount of space. On my last computer I was constantly having to delete programs to make room. I still use external drives to store my files out of habit and as a precaution.
b) the touch screen. I keep forgetting about it! It's like magic :D
The fan comes on sometimes when I have alot of programs running but it's not loud.
Really no complaints. I've had it for a few weeks and use it all day as I work from home. I've always worked on Windows and prefer them over Macs.
Hope this helps, take care~

I ordered this computer because I was having issues with my old laptop that were making it very difficult to work from home. For the price point, I'm very happy!
The good: the computer runs very, very smoothly. Startup is super fast, and the RAM makes working from home much easier - I typically have the remote desktop open along with multiple internet tabs, word documents, Adobe, zoom, and Skype. The computer runs quickly and smoothly, which was the main issue with my older laptop. The webcam is perfectly serviceable for Zoom meetings and I love the large screen.
As an added bonus, it runs the Sims well! I'm a very light gamer, and I haven't tried any graphic-intensive games, but it's been smooth sailing so far with the Sims 4. I haven't used the touchscreen as much, but it's definitely nice. Lastly, the laptop is very very light, which was a huge plus for me. I don't love larger laptops generally, so I was happy that this one was so light and thin!
My only complaint is the touch/feel of the mousepad and keyboard. I've been spoiled by my Thinkpad laptop, which has a much nicer keyboard for typing, and I don't love the plastic shell on this keyboard. The mousepad is also a bit stiffer than I'd like. The first day using the mouse/keyboard was a bit of an adjustment. That said, for the price point, these are minor complaints, especially since I bought an external mouse and keyboard (and an additional monitor) to work from home. S-mode is also a bit annoying - my main purpose for this laptop was remote work and Zoom, neither of which are compatible with S-mode, so I disabled it within five minutes of setting up the laptop. Oh well.
Overall, I'm more than happy with the computer itself! It's been a week and I'm planning to keep the laptop. I'm especially happy that I was able to get a laptop with 256 GB SSD and 12GB of RAM without breaking the bank.

For the price and performance you get from this laptop is great. It's quick and not too heavy for 15.6 in laptop. Pretty thin design as well. I got this for $470 before tax. AMD chips are comparable to Intel chips performance wise with the price advantage.

I'm not a gamer or a graphic designer so this computer is perfect for me. For the price, I could not be happier!! It is meeting all my needs so far. The 15.6" screen is a plus and the touchscreen is awesome. When on a Zoom call, I did get a message about my wifi signal but it never dropped my call.
I've only had for a week, so I may need to provide an update after i have used for a while longer.

I purchased this laptop about a month ago. The first computer came dysfunctional, I had to return it. Best Buy sent me a new one in two days, so that was a plus for fast shipping.
Pros: For an 15 inch computer, this is probably the lightest laptop that I've carried a while. The start-up is sooo fast and smooth. Even when you shut it down, it does it so fast! I appreciate the SPACE! 12 GB of RAM! I love that you don't hear the fan like that. I would say if you are doing some heavy stuff on this thing, then yes, you are going to hear them. Also, I took out S Mode and the computer is still fast! Battery is great. Sound is good. I don't use the touch screen, but it's a plus too.
Cons: The screen resolution is not .. the best lol. (1366 x 768) It's not a full HD screen, so when you're watching stuff on Youtube, Netflix, etc. it's not gonna look the best, but it's not that bad either. It's OKAY. If you want a better screen, then pay more with another laptop. Also, I wish there was a back-lit keyboard, especially when I use during the night.
Overall, this is a great every-day laptop. It does it's job. I bought this on 'Deal of the Day' and I am happy that I was able to get an laptop with 256 GB SSD and 12 GB of ram without paying so much money! I am happy with this one.

I recently purchased this laptop as an upgrade from my 2010 Macbook. This laptop is fast and easy to use. Per the recommendation of others, I immediately took it out of S mode after the setup and have not had any problems. As someone who works with numbers, I really love the fact that it has a number pad on the keyboard! The computer is also great for my side job (VIPKID). The screen quality is good for normal uses, but probably wouldn't be sufficient for a graphic designer. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase.
Pros: fast, touch screen works well, number pad, easy to set up and use, screen is a perfect size, great price
Cons:
The headphone jack is in an inconvenient place (next to where you'd put your mouse)
Num lock doesn't illuminate when on, so you have no clue whether it's on or not
No Ethernet port, so you have to purchase a connector

I like everything about it. I was looking for a laptop something in-between minimal and high end and I found it here. I have put multiple devices in and on it and it still runs great with them all. I like the touch screen it very sensitive but useful. I just have to remember I have a touch screen which is easy to forget about with this laptop. Runs smoothly has great memory and speed. My only complaint is that the battery doesn't last as long as it says it will. Can't go more than a few hours without another charge to it. It really depends on the work load you put on it. How long the battery actually will last.
