I am not a computer person, so I asked the employee in the laptop area what she would recommend. I have been pleased with my computer so far and it has all the features I wanted.

I have a disfigures index finger on my left hand and the pressure necessary to use the left click on the touchpad was uncomfortable. Other than that the computer was excellent.

I got this for my boyfriend for his birthday and he loves it! He's back in school and this computer is perfect for that. He even connect it to the TV to watch his favorite sports teams.

It had been 10 years since I purchased my Sony laptop and as much as I loved it, it was time. I went to Best Buy as that is where I had purchased the Sony. The sales person that helped me was great and I am very pleased with my HP_Notebook.

Best buy has my email address since I bought a computer from them. Now they feel they have the right to email me constantly. I will never buy any product from them ever again.

Got this for my son for Christmas. He is happy with it and gets his work done. He says it will freeze and restart now and then, but I didn't want to get him an Apple just yet.

I bought this computer because I was returning to school to get my GED, it's been great so far no freezing of screen like it said in the reviews, it isn't the fastest computer but for my needs it fits me well, I also use it to update my GPS at Garmin USA.com, my last computer was windows vista so windows 10 takes a bit of getting used to but I'm getting the hang of it, I will be downloading some music to it here in the near future, so I will update my review after that is done, overall great computer for the price.

Anyone who is looking for a laptop for general use will be pleased with this product. It does not have any of the fancy features like Blu-ray, but it does what it advertises.

I have always been a bigger fan of HP products. I have very little time spent on my computer since iPads came along, but I still find the need for my computer from time to time. I seem to like this one better than the asus I had before.

If you don't need a gaming laptop or something for super robust software like Photoshop or Illustrator, this laptop is more than sufficient for regular everyday use. If you haven't upgraded your laptop in a couple of years and are just a regular user and not a techie or super into computer specs then you will be pretty wowed by this machine. We bought this to be the work computer for a small day spa and it is more than enough for our needs. It is very fast when doing things like browsing the internet, checking email, etc... It is also very easy to figure out and set up. This is our first Windows 10 laptop and we were a little wary of the upgrade from 7. Now we realize we were being silly. 10 is very easy to get used to. If you can't find something you can just search for it and find it easily. For instance we were looking for the control panel and it wasn't obvious where it was at first. After one quick search, we were back on track. The touch screen is very nice. Still getting used to that. Very slick and easy to use keyboard. Nice sound. Plenty of system memory and storage for the average user. Basically, unless you are a hardcore laptop user - this machine is perfect. We did find this on a special so do your homework and if you can find this for a good price, grab it.

This laptop works effectively but slowly. It fulfills the needs of business work but can be slow to download and play video files

Great features. Didn't give 4 stars because if the windows operating system but that is not the manufacturers fault. My daughter loves it she uses it for her college work

My purchase of a personal laptop took me to a notebook with a desire to spend less than $500. This notebook is light weight with a great function of speed and convenience.

This has been a great laptop. Only downfall is ever since it upgraded to Windows 10 I have error messages that constantly pop up when it's first booted up.

I bought this to replace my old HP that had a version of Windows that was now outdated. I like the fact that it is much lighter in weight that the old 17” I had. Windows 10 has taken a lot to get used to, but I’m learning.

Should have been told to keep my old computer after info transfer--but was not--due to possible hacking--and removable or deleting everything from it--it still worked!!

This was actually bought by my daughter through my account. She bought it to do school work on and she hasn't complained at all. She says it is exactly what she wanted.

The computer is good. No problems. The help, severely lacking. 5 guys standing around. Not a single one could be bothered to help. Actually got someone from housewares to help. Now, housewares, heck of a department. Very helpful.

HP quality and value are hard to beat. This is a solid laptop that was purchased for my son as a Christmas gift. He is very happy with the product quality and features.

This purchase was specific to my nephews entering his 1st year of college and needing something of his own to do his school work on as he commuted to and from school.
