I didn't buy this as a gaming computer, as I'm not much of a gamer. But I wanted something that I could use for basic home tasks and to stream The Late Show With Stephen Colbert at dinnertime. Screen is the right size for the kitchen table, it streams well (and I've found that Windows 10 machines stream much better when using the Microsoft Edge browser versus Google Chrome, which, for me at least, is really prone to stuttering.) I also wanted something that had an optical drive because I have a large collection of music CDs (which I like to have for the artwork and for archival purposes, should my electronic storage bite the dust.) The laptop's speakers are plenty loud, if a little tinny, which is not unexpected, so I use an old Insignia USB soundbar that I once got as a freebie when I bought another laptop about ten years ago and which has a little more bass response than the built-in speakers.

I purchased this laptop because it has the recommendations for my school as far as processor, memory, and because it has a DVD player built in. It's bigger than my 15 inch old Toshiba laptop so I'm still getting used to the size.

We are considering replacing the hard drive with a SSD to improve performance. At the price point, computer is "disposable" in 3-years with replacement by a newer model.

I bought this laptop to replace one I've had for several years. It's great for Netflix because it has such a nice big screen. It has lots of memory. I look forward to using it for many years to come.

Needed to replace a ten year old computer because of Microsoft ending support for windows 7. This was a good choice for a bargain price.

The computer is good, except for, I do not like the alpha numeric part of the keyboard not being centered with the screen.

Well equipped computer for the price, although we did have to use the price match.

This is quite an upgrade from my almost 15 year old laptop. It does EVERYTHING better and faster. My only qualm is a personal one. I had a 15" this is a 17" and I feel like I would have been happy with a 15". But that is just me.

I bought this for my 19-year-old son for Christmas because he is a big time gamer and in his words he said, “this Rocks”.

Needed to replace my aging windows 7 and saw this laptop with good speed and flash memory. I store a lot of pictures so I decided I need more than 130 gigabytes and saw this laptop with 1TB Hard Drive so it was a no brainer. Have had it for a few weeks and so far very happy with it.

I can only find one thing wrong with this laptop. That's why I gave it 4 stars. There was no way to shut the touch pad off. I didn't like that. Other than that it is a great laptop.

Its a great quality labtop for a low price! I would recommend this to anyone!!

I have a surface pro 4 but I wanted a gaming laptop. I love it, the screen is huge and the resolution is amazing. I love that it has the numerical keyboard and the QWERTY keyboard.
