We upgraded to this new HP and it has been great! Easy to setup, easy to use! Does everything we need! We have not had any problems. It holds power once charged for a lengthy time. We transferred all our old information wireless directly to this laptop and it was easy! Size is great, keys are nice! Just no problems or complaints! The price was really good.

Nice big screen, easy setup, big keys. Very nice for simple use for home and sewing use. the only problem I can see as of yet is the usb ports being so close together its hard to copy from one to the other since I use the other side for wireless mouse.

I knew something was up with my old laptop when I increased my speed of internet with my ISP and it made absolutely NO difference! I got to looking on Best Buy's site and saw this particular model. The price was ok and I could get 12 months no interest which really sweetened the deal. I have transferred all of my stuff from the old one to the new one and I could not be happier! Everything works like a pro and moves along pretty fast. I don't play games but I don't want to have to wait several minutes either! I picked this one and it is exactly what I needed!

I like to work on a large screen so for the price this was a good deal for me. The color is good, not too much glare. I like the large letters on the keyboard. It is not too heavy. I mainly use it for work when I travel. I have used HP in the past and have very little problems with them and they tend to last.

Had it for several months now and it is doing just super. The price was right, I had looked at one on line and I went to the store to see if they would match the price. Found this one that was larger and a much better price. Only thing I wish was better is the battery life. Not bad but it doesn't keep the charge as long as my old did. But for the price, I can live with shorter time.

Took a while for it to start up...Windows10 sucks....but other than this it's a real good less expensive laptop....really like that it has ample USB ports and a DVD drive.

I purchased this laptop for school and I must say it was an excellent purchase for the price. User friendly and loads quickly. Lightweight makes it easy for transporting and screen size makes it easy on the eyes because it's not to small.

I purchased this laptop for two reasons: first, for a portable computer to be able to use tuning software for my motorcycle, and second, to use as a portable DVD player for a trip. The size is good, the weight is fairly low, the battery holds a good charge, I like having the HD vs the SSD, and while the CD/DVD drive is perfectly fine for my application, in comparison to my HP ENVY desktop computer with i7, 16GB memory and 1TB hard drive that is three years older, this laptop is a noticeably slower computer. I have removed most of the preloaded software, and essentially only run a browser (with only 1 or two tabs open), maybe iTunes, my tuning software, or streaming Netflix. Never really using more than one or two programs at once, there is some lag time, however most of the time the biggest issue is the loading time from cold-startup, not to mention the countless updates. As opposed to tearing down my desktop and moving it to the garage occasionally, and knowing I would use it relatively infrequently, I am willing to deal with the lackluster performance. I would not be happy if I was using this laptop as a replacement for my desktop, but at the price point I purchased it at it will do what I need it to do, even if it takes awhile to do it.

Had this one year now. Works great and all I did was double the memory (which I recommend). Just use it for basic stuff MS office) and internet. Good screen size too. Only negative, battery life is weak. Then again, laptops usually are but this one seems to drain faster than my Dell work laptop.

I have a work computer. But wanted one for just “me” basic. All I need is MS office and decent storage for Some large files. The Salesman was phenomenal. Didn’t try and oversell. And recommended a great laptop. Very very pleased and for out for just over $500.

I bought this laptop for my husband. He loves it. The i5 processor is fast. No delays from one website to another. Plenty space in the hard drive for him to store the photos. All the ports and SD slots comes very handy as for download photos or drives. The screen is big & clear. He no longer has to strain his eye sight. Previously he was using my i-pad. Due to lack of storage space. He was constantly get bumped off the sites. That was too small he said. Now all is cool, no longer face any of that old problems. Long enough battery life. he didn't have to charge it all the time.

I needed to replace my current HP laptop and wanted to get a middle of the road machine. For the price this computer is an excellent choice. Its fairly fast and I love the integrated mail so I can check all my accounts easily and quickly. I can't speak to gaming but for everyday use its great!

So far this computer has worked great for our needs. Fast, reliable and easy to use.

This is a good laptop for the price. I just needed something for schoolwork or general browsing. It gets limited use, but has worked well for what we need. It’s a big computer with a big screen. So it’s not the most lightweight option, but it stays at home so it works for me.

I purchased this laptop after the one I originally bought did not have enough storage for what was on my computer. I returned it and they recommended this one. The computer I was originally replacing was probably more expensive than this one and because of that I'm a bit disappointed in this. I don't know much about computers so buy what the salesperson directs me to. This one does have enough storage but I feel it is not as fast as my previous computer. the one thing that really others me is the button you push to turn it on and off. There is no light next to it or any indicator that the computer is on. I feel like I have to hold down on it for quite a time in order for the computer to power up but never really know when it's on. I don't use my computer for anything really important so this one is just ok.

I got extremely lucky in my opinion when I purchased this laptop. It had everything I need from gaming to office work. Built in microphone works well as does camera. Price point at time of purchase is what really got me. Only downfall so far was getting a good bag/cover for it. The 17.3 in screen is great for gaming and such however makes it hard to find an affordable carrier bag/cover.

This 17.3 laptop suits me best, because of the big screen I can enlarge everything (fonts & images) I like big letter and images because I wear reading glasses, It is light weight, so you can bring it anywhere. It is fast and reliable too.

An ideal laptop for generalized use and with the necessary capability for most users. Like the large screen as well as the reasonably comfortable keyboard. By todays standard it is better quality machine and affordable.

Great laptop for a great price. I just needed an new laptop for personal use and this fills the bill. It was easy to set up and is certainly fast enough for anything I want to do. Love the 17.3" screen.

I got this for my mother who travels constantly in her work and she just raves about it, how fast and how lite it is and how that makes her day better. Got a great deal on it as well Thanks Best Buy!
