What I wanted the most in a new laptop: Something fast, with an optical drive to download CDs and DVDs (which is hard to find), a large screen and backlit keyboard. Love all the extra features my old one doesn't have: B&O speakers, touchscreen, etc... I read all the reviews, didn't really worry about the warnings of this laptop being heavy. I mean, it's new technology, how heavy could it be compared to my 7yr old Toshiba, right??? Well... it's heavy. Uncomfortable on my knees, sitting on my couch. I will have to invest in some sort of lap top desk cushion. For now, I only use it on my dining room table, oh well... I do love it.

The computer is fast and the picture is fantastic. It can be a little loud at times during cooling after long use. The screen is a great size but the trade off is it’s a little heavier overall stylish fast computer with all the perks touchscreen backlit keyboard and a crystal clear display sound is good too

This laptop is great. Such an improvement over my previous one. And the bigger screen is great. I do love it. But it has two flaws. The labels on the keys aren't great. They look very cool. But if your room is very sunny you can't see the letters. And at some angles you can't see the letters. I usually use the laptop on a desk and I need to lean forward and be right over it to see the letters. I'm a touch typist for the most part and that has made it usable. But I have to look for some of the more obscure keys. And it's a pain. Also the camera quality is just so-so. The screen is crisp and great but the picture of me on a zoom call is fuzzy. (Maybe that is a benefit, you make your choice).

Compared to my previous Sony laptop that was getting slow, this HP Envy is very welcome upgrade! Lots of “bells and whistles” as they say. It’s fast and has lots of storage space. Great login/security feature too. Large display with touchscreen is nice to have and love the backlit keyboard. I chose this one when lesser priced units were selling out, and I couldn’t be happier with my selection!

This laptop is amazing and I am loving everything about it. The 17” display is beautiful and the keyboard is almost like having a desktop. No complaints. One observation, however. The power cord you sent with it says “Dell” instead of HP. It works fine, but I thought that was weird since it’s a brand new laptop.

this is a good computer. It is the second one I have bought and both are performing well. It has more bells and whistles than I use, but it is so much better than our older computers/laptops.

I'm happy over all -- but my C Drive is almost full while my D Drive is nearly empty. Cannot figure out how to solve this problem. Aside from that -- good machine. Wondering if anyone can help me with this?

Great laptop just tends to get warm so I bought a cooling pad which works perfect. Screen is large and beautiful.

It's one of the few (only one I could find) that had a optical drive built in. In all respects it is a top of the line laptop, with extra features like a switch that turns off the camera.

Love the finger scanner, works like a charm. It's fast has lots of space. It's quiet, stays cool even when playing Halo. The Speakers are good I just thought they could be better being that they are B&O's. I would be this Laptop 20 times over.

Have had this beauty for a month. Within first week after initial use, it developed a bug (?) & had to consult GeekSquad for assistance. Not happy with having screen lock up while working on-line. Other than that the design & power is good

I have to be honest, I only bought this because my current laptop is dying. I haven't actually used it very much since my old one is still kicking. But it seems to run fine with no issues. Hoping it lives up to expectations.

Really Like design n look. Sound is amazing. If the put bright light under keyboard then its really good.

Fast, easy to use, great features. One of the few computers that have a hard drive and SSD. Have had this computer about 2 months and has been working good.

The laptop works great and has a lot of cool bells and whistles. I really like the backlit keyboard as my old laptop didn't have this.

Was bought for the Chase County Historical Society & Museum to replace outdate all in one computer. Works FANTASTIC and very quick.

It's fast and a lot of memory, it's very enough for the professional use. After a few months use, it's still work super well.
