Customer Service Hassle

This rating is not for the product itself, but the customer service I received while trying to purchase it. Apparently, this product is not sold through Best Buy, but a third party vendor. This means that Best Buy "does not have to check on" my issues and can direct me away. I did have one rep offer to give me contact info for the vendor, but the chat disconnected. When I chatted again to get the information, the next rep still could not give me contact information after 45 minutes of no help. I was in a physical store twice as well to purchase the laptop with a gift card I had, but I could not use the gift card unless I downloaded the Best Buy app, which is very obnoxious. Overall, the product seems to be working as intended, minus not having a Microsoft Office product/activation code as I believed it to, but I could not get in contact with anyone to confirm anyway.
