This device has poor support for my new HP OmniBook computer and both devices have poor support for Thunderbolt 3 and various displays. I have other computers running multiple operating systems and they work better with Thunderbolt 3. I have other docks and they work better with all the computers and displays. This is not just about hubs and power bricks, although HP detects any device within 100 yards as an incompatible power source. All my important Thunderbolt 3 compatible devices struggle to work with this dock. I'm using an Acer USB3.0 hub in order to get this working, and I've been able to get my one most important Thunderbolt 3 device to work plugged directly into the remaining Thunderbolt 3 port. It is not a power brick or hub! HP seems to want to build HP compatible devices but I guess they care less about compatibility with data and video interface standards.
