    Technology gets old fast

I started having problems almost immediately with the touch pad not working or the power button only working if the screen was disconnected from the base etc. After looking at blogs we finally figured out that the drivers were all outdated and needed updating. So you should probably leave your settings to update anytime it wants to. There is a little bit of discomfort not having a CD drive when you're used to having one, but most things have an online download now or you can buy an external pretty cheaply. There does seem to be a lot of things loaded on that I will never use and probably need to wipe off. It probably took me a good month, but I finally have it working like I want it to.

The laptop works great, somewhat top heavy due to the fact that the monitor seperates and can function on its own like a tablet. Alot of preinstalled tiles/apps to weed through. Personally, the unit isnt seperated as often as I thought, it is used mostly as a laptop, but it does give you that option Although it is heavier than any tablets you would use. Overall, no real complaints, just personal nit picks.

This was a great pick for someone not tech savvy. I've used 2 months now and I'm very satisfied. Vibrant colors, great webcam and love the portability of the snap off screen/tablet.

Actually purchased this for my 9 year old daughter. She was a laptop that could convert to a tablet. Took a little while to get used to but are not having any issues with it at all

I really liked the computer, unfortunately someone has stolen it, so I will have to purchase another as soon as I can get the funds. Thank you so much for everything.

I purchased this 2 in 1 to replace my daughter's Toshiba for college this semester. Her Toshiba continued to keep shutting off on her for no reason at all. On a whim and her saying she would wanted a smaller computer, I opted for this one over the Suface Pro 3. It has a larger hard drive and cost less even after student discounts not to mention she didn't need the extras like a blue tooth keyboard like the Surface does. She is very happy with it even with it being a smaller screen.

Love the look and weight. Top seems to get very warm when plugged in. PDFs will not open. Not sure what the issue is. Worked great for first few weeks.

No complaints about this laptop. It works great but I haven't really tried out the audio yet. I'm not a big fan of Windows 8, I'm getting used to it.

Good value for the money. Removable monitor for Tablet mode is nice. If weight is a big factor though, this one may not be for you as it is heavy.

We were looking for a tablet to use at work but when the salesperson showed us the 2 in 1 laptops we felt this was just what we needed. HP's 2 in 1 has the screen that detaches from the keyboard so it makes it easy to walk around with the tablet. The speed could be a little faster when loading but it is not too slow that it is a problem. Great laptop for work and surfing.

Nice computer, could use a tutorial for using all the fabulous features. Tablet half is kind of heavy, but I'm mostly a lap top girl.

Touch screen plus keyboard is great for using multiple apps at once and editing papers. The tablet function works well when reading but makes the computer top heavy (only a problem if you have weak wrists like me). Pretty fast processor only lags when it hasn't been shut down in about a week and updates pretty frequently.

I bought this laptop for my mother so she could surf the net, skype with grandkids, do some light clerical type work, and listen to her music on the go. This has been great for those simple things. She doesn't play graphics heavy games or use applications that require a lot of memory so if that is what you want this for, I suggest looking at another product. If you're looking for simple, then this is the way to go!

I'm very happy with this lap top. I like that I can snap key board off and use it like a tablet. I also love that it's touch screen. Speed is good for everything I do with it as well. Size is great too, not too big and bulky or heavy but yet large enough.

Everything is great about this computer. This was a gift for my teenage daughter and she really liked it. Unfortunately we had to send it in to HP for repairs due to it not turning on which seems to be an issue with these. It was a quick service with the computer coming back in 5 days.

I purchased this for my daughter and it looks like it should work out well for her. When used with the screen connected to the keyboard it tends to be top heavy (most of the guts are built into the screen side). So I impressed on her to hang onto carefully if toting it around with the screen flipped up. The display looks good - nice resolution. I got a clearance deal on this, so overall - for the price, a pretty good buy.

I purchased a laptop for my granddaughter in December 2014 for Christmas. January of 2015 the hard drive needed to be replaced. After jumping through hoops to get a new laptop even with the insurance protection I found it to be frustrating and poor business. We should not have to fight and debate on issues that are and should be handled based on common sense. Why bother to but theses plans should this be the case?
