Product quality has an excellent price point to go with it.

We purchased the computer as it was a laptop and tablet combined with 500K memory. The design was one we liked. We brought it home and started loading it, and it turned into a horrendous situation. The computer was very slow, and as I loaded programs, it kept showing errors, and other programs would load on their own. After considerable time and energy, we realized this was not a computer that would work for us, and we returned it. Would not recommend this computer to anyone.

We purchased this laptop to replace our 10 year old laptop, so it wasn't hard to beat that one, but we have been very happy. We weren't sure we wanted a laptop, as we basically only use the computer for emails and such, but we wanted portability too. This has a big hard drive (unlike most tablets) and a touch screen and the screen detaches. I'm worried about the screen in the long run not staying on or that mechanism failing, but so far so good. I will say the keyboard is very light, so when it sits on your lap the whole thing is top heavy. Also, the weight makes it feel breakable. But the keyboard is easy to use and I appreciate the two USB ports. The sound quality, which I thought would be great due to the beatsaudio name, is fine, but nothing to write home about.

Since I have been unable to set it up until this past week, when HP helped me initially set it up in order to install the printer application, I have had little time to play with it, download software, or contact my computer support people (iYogi, System Mechanic & Geek Squad) to have their products downloaded, too. I anticipate a learning curve, as it has multiple block windows native to Windows 8 that Windows 7 didn't have & also has the Cloud , so I will need to explore a bit before I'm proficient on this computer/laptop. I also haven't purchased the Windiows 8 Office Suite yet, but I hope it isn't too different from that in Windows 7, as I keep several databases (medical information & genealogy) in Excel that have to be updated from time to time.

My son has found the computer very easy to navigate.

While its nice that you can detach the screen and us it as a tablet, it still has its limits. WiFi connection on it will deminish when another laptop is right beside it on the same network...

I bought this for my daughter as she wanted a laptop but also watches a lot of Netflix and Youtube. She has the ability to do her school work and many of the same extra as she has on her tablet. Haven't seen her this happy for an electronic since her tablet years ago.

I really liked how this laptop looked so I was disappointed with it; as many reviewers say it is top heavy, the keyboard is just plastic so its basically a tablet that's also a laptop. The other issue was that the back of the screen gets really hot .

My laptop is easy to use. It upgraded to Windows 10. You can highlight, write notes on the internet and save it for later. Can have at least two window display at the same time. Its touch screen. Its a really great laptop for a college student.

I love all the features on this HP laptop, from the portability of the detachable screen for use as a tablet, to the built-in apps that make it so convenient. The sound is awesome, too, with the "beats audio." Overall, I am extremely satisfied.

This is the first laptop/tablet I have purchased. Very rugged, and since I am in Alaska, it has performed well despite sketchy wifi access. I recommend this pc for anyone and everyone.

I purchased this laptop for a granddaughter graduating from high school and getting ready to go into college. She loves it and couldn't be more tickled with what I picked out for her. The HP with a white case is perfect for my girly-girl!

I like the computer OK, it does have some features I like. I gave it a four rating because it didn't come with software to watch movies. That seems like a basic necessity these days. I know the computer didn't come with a DVD player but really with the different mediums available to get a movie, why wouldn't it have a movier viewer? The 2-in-1 is a nice feature but when the monitor is undocked, it is heavier than expected. You cannot hold it as long as you would a tablet of the same size. It's doable but wish is wasn't quite so heavy.
