Excellent buy - needed more used black ink

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the HP brand but I hate the fact they make you purchase their Ink Brand ONLY. Your printer won't work unless its HP ink, even if you refill the cartridges at Costco your printer still won't print. They put some sort of chip in the cartridges that knows when the ink runs out and transmits the info to HP so they know if its been tampered with when you try to refill it. So that's why I feel trapped, cause you have no other options to purchase ink except their brand. I understand the thought behind it but we should have a cheaper choice for ink. I will add that I have never had an issue with the quality of this product.
