Good product but expensive. Work well on my 6950 printer

Buying this product is a total win—fast, effortless, and super convenient. No more last-minute store runs or empty ink cartridges catching me off guard. Best of all, they almost always have exactly what I need, and the price doesn’t break the bank. 10/10 would recommend!

I've never had an issue with HP ink cartridges regardless of whether I'm using a commercial or home-based printer. I'm on my second cartridge for my new home office printer - no fuss, no mess, no worries.

Very, very disappointed. I purchased this online, and it came very quickly. The problem is I went to open the almost $50 ink cartridge, and it exploded when I moved the orange plastic piece. My carpet at this point is ruined and I lost have the ink! At the least I would have expected Best Buy to replace the Cartridge. I mean it does have a returnable date of Jan 16, 2021
I am very sorry that that you had this experience. It sounds like the cartridge might have been damaged in transit.
It is important to carefully unwrap this type of cartridge. While leaking is more common with refills, it can also happen with a damaged or defective cartridge.
There is a vent near the cartridge label that will normally open when the tab is pulled completely loose, and the outer plastic covering is removed from around the cartridge. That vent has to be open to prevent the cartridge from leaking when you twist off the orange tab prior to installing the cartridge. On defective and remanufactured cartridges, you might have to clear the vent with a straight pin to keep it from leaking
You can return it or exchange it either to the store or by mail. Information about that can be found at: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/help-topics/return-exchange-policy/pcmcat260800050014.c

The black 902xl doesn’t work! Ink is in the cartridge, but will not adjust to print black! See copies! The other 3 colors cartridges, print great! I’m very disappointed, because I truly needed to print black copies! Please sent this correct black
It sounds like you got a defective cartridge. These situations are rare but still irritating for our customers. I'm sorry you received this cartridge. Let's go through the return process to provide you with better support. Return the cartridge to www.bestbuy.com/site/help-topics/return-exchange-policy/. Purchased this today, I was twisting off the orange tab and the dang(being nice) thing exploded in my hand. Not a happy camper. I was able to remove about 90% with paint thinner. Ya might want to wear gloves when using HP ink tanks, I know I will next time. Heading back to BB
I am truly sorry about what happened to you. I can understand you not being happy.

This is an HP product. I believe that HP has greatly improved the quality of their products in the past few years. This meets the printer specs and is the only brand that works well in HP printers. A little more expensive, but the results are great.

I’ve had consistently good results with this HP 902XL black ink cartridge. Installation was quick, the printer recognized it immediately, and print quality has been sharp and dark with no streaking or fading. The high-yield version definitely lasts longer than the standard cartridge, which means fewer replacements and less hassle.

HP - 902 XL high yield ink cartridges work great for normal home and home office use. The cartridge is easy to install and provides excellent quality printing. Our computer and printer serves our 16 year old grandson with his needs for on-line classwork currently required as a result of the covid 19 virus. High quality printing is essential for my wife in her business making original hand made greeting cards. The entire family use the printer and ink cartridge in normal daily communication activities. The HP 902 XL cartridge is outstanding in meeting our printing need in an efficient cost effective manner.
