Now days with printers being more technologically advanced, a person is more locked into using genuine ink than a generic or refilled ink cartridge. If you shop online, you read reviews that complain the cartridge received looks different or is packaged different and not working properly or isn't recognized by the printer. I always buy my ink from Best Buy online or in the store because I know it is genuine and my printer will work at its best. Be sure to become a My Best Buy program member(it's free) and enjoy a discount off the cost of ink. The HP Cartridge listed here is a genuine HP ink cartridge and is designed to print longer and work perfectly with your printer. It looks good on paper and does not fade. You can't go wrong buying it for your printer and buying it from Best Buy. Best Buy to me is the genuine ink cartridge place that does not overcharge for it.

This is a replacement ink cartridge for an HP 8610 printer. Easy to install as it spring loaded - just push-in the cartridge that needs replacement and it pops out. Likewise, just push in the new cartridge until it clicks in place. These XL cartridges provide much longer life - more pages printed - than the non-XL, which easily translates into better value for the higher price you pay over the non-XL cartridge. There appears to be a design flaw in the printer itself that reports a cartridge is lower on ink than it really is - this issue seems to have gotten better with software upgrades to the printer itself. The printer may also report that a cartridge is not installed or installed incorrectly. To fix the above two issues, it is easiest to just access the cartridge replacement area, eject the cartridge and slide it back in again. It sometimes helps to use a microfiber clothe to clean the copper tips on the cartridge as they tend to attract residue from the printer operations. All-in-all the XL is a good bargain - printer many more pages than non-XL in conjunction with the 8610. One small drawback - it is difficult to find all three colors plus a black in one single XL package. This means you often have to buy three color packs, or each color in a single pack and then buy the larger black cartridge. This is especially true when you need ink right away as not all colors are available at the same time. So, best to stock-up when the multi packs are available, even though it costs more upfront and you run the risk of having the "spare" cartridges sitting idle and perhaps reaching the end of their estimated life span.

These are genuine HP inks, and the XL size is twice the output for less than twice the price, making it a great deal as far as replacement inks go. The expiration date is almost two years out so no worries about that. I had shipped and it arrived the next day. You also get it cheaper of you are a rewards member and it's free to sign up. I sound like I work for BB now, but I don't lol.

Provides good color and is easy to install. Most important, it is a good value.

Best quality - no comparison to the generic ones. Also - this lasts a really long time

This is the prescribed ink cartridge for my printer and works very well. Happy to buy the XL and get twice the amount of ink for only one third of the price. Wish I could have bought the color cartridges together in one package instead of buying them each separately.

Great set for our home office printer. Has all the colors we need and lasts awhile. Reasonable price so we don't have to keep replacing them. We maybe buy 2 a year so well worth the XL options.

It's crazy how long these carts last. I've had my printer for about a year and use it fairly frequently, I just *now* ran out of the small starter ink. Also, these carts are super simple to install, you just pop it into the slot. There's nothing you need to break off the cart or extra unwrapping to do.

HP 951 XL is a Great ink long lasting which is what I like. I like the fact that the 951XL ink lasts longer in my HP Office Jet pro printer than the regular 951 ink does which is great since I save $ less amount of time I need to replace it.

Super simple installation and long-lasting. Although they are rather expensive, they are woerth the cost in their ease and lifespan. After all, pretty much ALL ink cartridges are expensive. Why do you think that printers are so inexpensive?

Easy to insert. Perfect color. Very little problems. I've received nothing but excellent results. I am very pleased with the brand and would love to have the product discounted in the near future.

High-yield cartridge gives more that the standard. Unless you're printing one page a month, it's better to get the XL cartridges. And buy the HP ones. Not because you want to save a buck buying refilled ones. Because when your printer clogs with a refill, you're going to be upset you didn't buy the HP branded one. And it's not like they are that expensive. But check the printer app on your computer before you buy just one. I had to go back 2 times because one cartridge ran out. So I changed it. Then the printer said another ran out. So I changed it. Got one page done, and then ANOTHER ran out. You also can't print just greyscale or black&white unless all the cartridges, even the color ones, have ink.

I purchased an HP Printer that uses these ink cartridges and I only get the XL ones because they last longer that the regular. They are easy to install and I trouble free. I recommend them for their service, ease of operation and neatness.

I don't like taking chances on running out of ink -- or using cheap ink tank refills. The HP XL ink cartridges never let me down. Expensive but worth having good ink when you need it!

the hp magenta inkjet is extremely dependable and of high quality. it lasts a long time and is a good value for the price and quantity of pages it prints.

I recently purchased a new HP all-in-one printer and needed to switch over to these cartridges. As with my other HP size, they are easy to install and the printer recognizes them without issue. I've purchased off brand cartridges and they always seem to have problems, either not printing adequate number of pages or the printer won't recognize it. The number of pages per cartridge is definitely a bit higher than the range provided which is nice. The ink prints clearly and doesn't bleed or remain wet on the page. Best Buy offers the best pricing on these of anywhere else I've found.

Long-lasting and Easy to use cartridges, the price might be higher than others but they don't need to be replaced as often and maintenance is simple.
