      Hi there.

I’m sorry to hear that your printer has rendered prints of poor quality. I wholly understand why this would be an unsettling surprise. I want to help you remedy this situation, so I’ll offer some suggestions I hope will accomplish that.

First, I recommend following the steps listed in a guide on our support site to improving print quality. Issues covered include faded or streaked prints, color or black ink not printing properly or at all, and blurred or fuzzy text. Find that guide here:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06557991

If print quality does not improve to your satisfaction, I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help assess what’s happening and find the best course of action. To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

      - Model number
      - Serial number
      - Your location
      - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

      Hi there.

I’m sorry you’ve had a difficult start with your printer. I can wholly understand your disappointment, considering you’ve not found the two-sided printing feature you’d like, the device has used ink more quickly than you’d anticipated, and you’ve had trouble loading paper. I want to help improve your experience. I hope the resources and information below get you there.

First, while you’re correct that your printer lacks automated duplex printing, it does have a manual function that accommodates two-sided prints. I suggest you consult the main user manual on our support site, specifically the section called “Print Using a Computer.” Find that manual here:
      - www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c07043347.pdf

Next, regarding ink, I can’t tell how many pages you’ve printed or how that compares with the cartridges’ estimated page yield. I’ll point out that some printers come with what are known as setup cartridges, which have a lower capacity than regular or XL cartridges, and less still than ones in our Instant Ink program. If you’re still using the cartridges that came with the printer, this could explain what you’re seeing.

However, if you’ve installed replacement cartridges, the XL cartridges designed for your printer have estimated yields of 200 to 240 pages, while the regular size cartridges are expected to produce 100 to 120 pages. How cartridges perform in your own printer varies according to numerous factors, including resolution, how dry the air is and how absorbent the paper is.

Regardless, if your results differ dramatically from the estimates above – or you need assistance with the duplex feature or paper loading – I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

      - Model number
      - Serial number
      - Your location
      - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

I hate it. HP has updated to an app that controls everything! Cool but the printer has very little settings to choose from. Can only use regular paper. If you change WiFi…. It’s a whole process. I had to read support forums for hours to figure it out. Just doesn’t do what I need it to or expected it to.

      Hi, Catherine.

I’m sorry that you’ve had trouble with your printer. I can certainly understand your disappointment, having been able to use only one type of paper and then facing connectivity issues after changing your Wi-Fi network. I want to help you resolve these issues, so I’ll provide some clarifying information and resources aimed at making that happen.

First, I just checked the product specifications for this printer, and it’s designed to handle multiple sizes of plain paper as well as photo paper, brochure paper and envelopes, among others. I recommend that you consult the main user manual for this model on our support site, specifically the section in the Table of Contents called “Load Media and Paper Basics.” Click on “Load Media” to be taken to diagrams and instructions on how to load different types of paper. “Paper Basics,” meanwhile, leads to more information about paper types. Find that manual here:
      - www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c07043347.pdf

Next, for help with your Wi-Fi connection, I suggest that you visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various issues, including wireless connectivity. You can find that page here:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics

If you need further assistance with paper management or connectivity, I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess what’s happening and find the best course of action. To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

      Hi, Ramiro.

I’m sorry you’re dissatisfied with your Instant Ink program. I can understand why it would be surprising if you were not expecting it or did not intend to sign up for it. I want to help you get the most from the printer, so I’ll offer some clarifying information and resources I hope will reach that end.

First, Instant Ink is a printing plan that automatically sends you ink cartridges so you don’t have to purchase them yourself. Under it, you choose a plan based on the number of pages you would like to print monthly, and you are billed for ink on a monthly interval. Replacement cartridges are shipped as needed based on usage. Instant Ink cartridges contain more ink than cartridges you could buy at a retailer, so they last longer.

Your printer came with an offer of six months free in this program. Once this period is complete, you can cancel and buy cartridges from your preferred retailer at your convenience.

If you’d like more clarification or to change your printing plan, I recommend that you contact our Instant Ink program at +1-855-785-2777 so we can help you assess and resolve the situation.

This printer looks great and all but is extremely slow. Maybe if you only print a dozen pages or so a month it would be ok. Color and print quality is great but agonizingly slow. I returned it to Best Buy and spent more money for an Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3820. It is fast and so far is awesome - well worth the difference in price!

The printer works and is decent but it is not a fast printer. It does not hold a lot of paper but it holds a few sheets which would be sufficient for small jobs. I wouldn’t recommend if this is something you’re going to use a lot every day but for once in a while usage of printing a page at a time it is not a bad printer. It comes with very few instructions so most of the help would be sought online
