I wrote a comprehensive review on this desktop about a week ago and it was not listed here @ Best Buy, so I am writing it again. In short - do NOT waste your money on this PC. HP misleadingly advertises this PC with 8 GB of RAM, but only 5.91 is available to the O/S immediately upon booting. This mean the remainder of the RAM is allocated to the video card and perhaps other peripherals (NIC) and NOT available to the operating system. I called HP to complain about this and was on a "chat" session with them for more than 8 hours. Their support is HORRIFIC! They have people reading off of scripts who have no understanding of the basics of PC's, RAM etc. HORRIFIC SUPPORT! If it isn't in their "script" they have no idea what to do or say. If a PC is advertised with 8 GB of RAM, that is what should be available to the operating system. By the time all device drivers, other programs load such as antivirus and HP's own software, you are left with a significantly less amount of RAM (e.g. 3.8 GB of 8) to run programs. Programs that require 8GB of RAM will not run. Misleading advertising to say the least.

As a small business owner I needed a computer that was reliable for everyday use and at the same time didn't break the bank. The HP has performed flawlessly so far and has actually exceeded my expectations. It is very fast as well as quiet. It has loaded all my programs without any problems. After using the solid state drive I will never go back to a hard drive, it's really that much better. I got the 512 SSD because I wanted to make sure that I had enough room to load my business and accounting software, but if your needs are for surfing the internet, listening to music and other low impact uses the 256 would be more then adequate, since I've only used 50 GB and that's with all my necessary programs loaded. If you're looking for a reliable and reasonably priced computer this is it.

It took a long time for me to transition to Windows 10 from my old, reliable and slow Windows 7. But I am glad I did. This product is faster, more quiet, more reliable and more versatile than I ever thought it would be.

Great machine specs with a bigger hard drive and more memory to make it run better. I would recommend this machine since it has a great SSD size and runs about like an i5 machine

Smooth sailing! :-) Have had this up and running for about a month and love this desktop. Everything loads smoothly and quickly. No problems whatsoever. Start up is around 10 seconds. The only issue I had in the beginning was that the DVD drive wouldn't recognize disks. Got on with Best Buy support and uninstalled the drive, restarted the computer and it works perfectly now. I would definitely recommend this desktop!

Upgraded from a 10 year old desktop to this unit. The keyboard and mouse are kind of chintzy but serviceable. Didn't buy it for those two items. The computer is very good. Really like the speed of the solid state drive. For my use this is the perfect unit.

I bought this computer as a gift for my mom. It meets all of her needs with any compromises. It will not do any heavy lifting like graphics work or gaming but for the run of the mill office work it was very cost effective and more than meets her needs. It also had enough variety of ports that we were able to reuse her monitor and other peripherals.

I have been using this computer for 3 weeks and no complaints at all. Its super fast, quiet, and gives me all that I wanted and need.

Exactly what I needed to use as a daily workhorse after my old desktop died. There's a bunch of USB ports on the front and back which are really nice to have as well. Only complaint is that the graphics card isn't really the best but I don't plan to do any heavy gaming on this thing.

It seems to running ok. I had to get a monitor also and that took forever so I couldnt use tower. So my free 6 mo. security is really only 5 mo. Have to cut the invoice off of the box. Not sure if I got good price or not. Not that computer literate. Mason at best buy very helpful

A fast reliable home computer for my daily use. HP is a brand you can trust for performance and usability.

This desktop is fast, sleek looking, and does what it is supposed to do the way it is supposed to do it.

I went through 2 of these never got there quality up to snuff. Hp is selling 8g ram but only 5.91 is available? It was slow kept crashing with blue screen errors? Hp cc tried to help fix the problem but they knew less about it than i did. Best Buy took over and helped me out. They took the 1st one back and ordered a new one it lasted through the covid19 shut down then came the blue screen errors AGAIN? Bestbuy stepped in again without fail my bestbuy store here in Cincy are the best. I went back to my store they traded the HP in and i bought a Dell system and so far so good. Until HP comes up with a good answer on why the took over 2g from there ram on the 8 g system i will never buy another HP. Thank you for the help Best buy. They are the reason I buy my electronic's from them they always have my back.

Does what it should with no fuss. Good value for a workhorse computer.

Computer DIED 14 months after it was received and was problematic prior. Also there seems to be an 8 month discrepancy on the purchase date shown on the Best Buy web site.
