I hadn't purchased a new computer in a few years. After researching HP desktop computers, the HP Desktop AMD Ryzen 5 Series seemed to be the best for me. The computer is great and has lived up to my expectations

Very fast! Needed a desktop computer that's capable of handling many applications at once and unloading/downloading GPS/GIS data. This computer is fast and dependable. Very pleased with this purchase. Highly recommend.

Very easy to use (once it’s hooked up to your monitor and plugged into power of course...), but may need a good amount of Windows updates before you can use it safely, just FYI. But overall, it’s really good to use! Totally worth the setup and updates in the end.

I've had this computer for almost a year now and it's been working great without any issues at all. Would definitely recommend this HP computer.

I replaced an old HP that I had been using for 10-11 years. This new one has taken a bit of time to get used to, but I really like it. Seems to get the job done in a faster time. I had the Geek Squad set it up for me.

Impressed with how quiet this computer is. It loads fast multiple pages, boots up fast too. Windows 10 is different having updated from Windows 7 but adjusting to it. Wasn't loaded with to much junk either. My last HP lasted 9 yrs with a smaller AMD processor. Hopefully I have the same luck .

I love my new HP des,top. The 12 gig of ram and solid state drive are just wnat I needed. I'm convinced that this upgrade is the reason my last Zoom class was so successful, Sharing my desktop went without a hitch.

AMD Ryzen 5 is plenty fast in this HP Desktop (Intel who?). 12GB memory differentiates vs. other desktop boxes. I just wish the fan was a bit quieter. I have the computer off the floor right next to my monitor and I can hear the low hum. But nothing obtrusive.

Bought this computer for slicing 3d files, does a great job, comes with everything you need. Great starter computer capable of most online tasks, and would probably work well as a distance learning tool.

This computer is SO much faster than my old one. I had gotten use to my old one and didn't realize how slow it was. My only problem on the new computer is the ''on switch' is very tiny and hard to find.

Wow! This thing really zips along, I really like the SSD, much faster and quieter than a standard mechanical drive. A huge upgrade from my old machine. Really glad I got it. And the price was right, too.

This was a great purchase. Has more than enough ram to multitask with programs and windows. The SSD makes booting really quick as well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Unless you're wanting to game.

My son got this for gaming and it's worked out great but you know computers there's always a better later on but this one has lasted good enough for the games he plays.

I liked it so much I bought a second one for a family member. Easy to set up and use. The mouse is what you'd expect for free - Not the most comfortable feeling in your hand but it gets the job done.

I spent more to get a better outcome for what it's mainly intended for. HP delivers. Thanks to the Lawrence, Kansas Best Buy staff for being patient, courteous, understanding, & honest. Best Buy rocks!

Replaced an older all in one Dell for business and I added an additional internal hardrive to increase the available space. With the additional space, this is a fast and efficient computer for my needs.

I purchased this after returning an i3 desktop by Lenovo. So far, I notice a huge difference. This is faster than the i3 by a landslide. The build of the desktop is nice, and so far I am very happy.

This little PC is packed with power. Bought it for my 9 yr old gamer, and he is super impressed! I took it for a test drive and it runs very well, and can do multiple tasks at once. I highly recommend!

Great price. no issues. Use it mainly for emailing and streaming, so no heavy lifting for this computer yet, If and when I get some sizable applications on this system, I'll update the review.

I purchased this desktop for school and office work so I could use two larger screens than the one on my laptop. It booted up just fine after connecting it and it runs decent once you remove a lot of the pre-installed bloatware that comes with this thing. Wifi and Bluetooth both work really well, which is a huge boon for me as our router is in another room. However, the monitor connected to the VGA is noticeably more blurry and faded than the monitor connected to the HDMI, even though they are the same monitor. The colors come out looking more washed out and text is fuzzy and sometimes difficult to read. The RAM on this machine is just flat-out terrible. According the the MFR, this machine is supposed to come with 12GB of RAM. I mostly use the machine for MS Office as well as watching movies on YouTube or Netflix, so I felt that 12GB would be plenty for my needs. The first time I tried watching a YouTube video, the video froze and I had to restart Chrome. I switched over to Edge and while the video didn't freeze completely, it had to stop and start several times to let the RAM catch up. I looked at the task manager and I was using about 97% of the available RAM at any given time. I checked the system to be sure it was 12GB and for some reason, it's only registering 10GB of RAM installed. I checked both of the RAM sticks and they were correctly installed, 1x 4GB + 1x8GB, I'm not sure why the system isn't picking up the extra 2GB, but it's certainly disappointing that in order to use this computer to watch something as simple as a YouTube video, I have to pay another $80 to buy new RAM for the machine. My 3-year old laptop can outperform this machine with no problems. Overall, while this machine has some nice features, I feel rather disappointed with it. I've come to expect more from HP, but this will be the last HP product that I purchase for quite some time.
