For the money this was a great value. I am using on my boat for navigation and it seems to work very well.

Computer works great except for the the charger cord stopped working after less than . A laptop is pretty useless without a charger cord. Stopped in at Best Buy to replace it and the price was over $60. Ah .. nope.

The HP EliteBook is a great system for any home I would recommend it to anyone.

This laptop was on sale for $284.99 and had almost all the features I needed for an inexpensive laptop. 8G of ram which is so much better than 4G with Windows 10. 128G SSD hard drive for quick boot up and saving as I don't need a ton of memory. Keyboard had no problems and the physical condition of the laptop was near mint .Lots of options for connectivity for other devices( USB, VGA, eSATA and included the dvd writer drive. The additional option I wasn't expecting was that my laptop did come with a camera with it even though the BB website it didn't come with one. I would have given this a 5 star rating if not for 2 issues. 1) Sound control isn't the easiest to use as the quick button in the top right is mute or not mute option. There is keys on F6 and F7 that could be utilized if you know how to use them This issue is very minor. 2) The biggest issue I have is that the unit came with a dead pixel basically right in the middle of the screen. Surfing web and using WORD or other applications it isn't a big deal. However, when watching movies with a dark backdrop its extremely annoying and your eyes will focus right on it all the time. The dead pixel is small This is a refurbished unit so dead pixels are possible to be seen Overall, for the low price for a fully functional laptop with plenty of pop and ease of surfing and startup/shutdown this was worth the $ for me.

Terrible! Never buying refurbished from Best Buy again. Computer wouldn’t turn on after 2 weeks of use.

Great PC for the price. With the Solid State Drive, processor speed, 8 GB of RAM you would be hard pressed to find anything competitive. The only issue so far is with the Description on the listing. It states explicitly, "HDMI output expands your viewing options." This computer does NOT have HDMI output. It has a "Display Port" (DP) output, for which you can get a DP (male) to HDMI (female or male) cable to output to HDMI. It even lists "Additional ports-DisplayPort, VGA port, microphone input and headphone output", which leads one (at least this one) to believe that is in addition to an HDMI port. It is just a $10 cable and would not have changed my purchase decision. It would be good if they would include some documentation, even a link to the generic PDF user guide for the base system would be good. The criticism is strictly constructive, it gets 5 stars so far!

Got this computer refurbished by Joy Systems and it is unbelievably fast and easy to use. It feels like it's new and has been working seamlessly. If you are looking for a laptop for a student this may be your fit, as it runs fast for simple tasks like netflixing, microsoft word, and other internet things! It's also a GREAT PRICE.

Please be aware that these two specifications are wrong: 1) HDMI output expands your viewing options. 2) Supports SD, MultiMediaCard, SDHC and SDXC memory card formats. It does not have an HDMI input nor a place to put an SD card. After a couple months, mine stopped charging the battery and my tech friend has still to figure that out. This is an out-dated comupter in relation to most computers on this site.

Wanted to get my son a decent laptop without breaking the bank. I was nervous about getting a refurbished one but we've had no problems and he loves it. :)

Thus laptop is perfect. Especially for the price! I have zero complaints. I was worried since it is such an old model (I was replacing a newer, much more expensive laptop) but this thing is perfect! I'll probably buy another as a back up!

The pc arrived here dead, I asked for a replacement pc, but the service center wanted to first try a new power cable, after waiting more than 2 weeks for a new power cable,I returned it for a refund.
