This is my daughter's laptop. I was wary about buying a refurb, but the price was right. Hopefully, it will prove to be a good purchase in the long run. Straight out of the box, the laptop started showing white lines across the top of the screen. It is still usable but very annoying. It will be fixed under warranty, but there is still the inconvenience of having it shipped out and returned during repair. It is going out for repair tomorrow. It is too early to tell if we will be satisfied with this purchase. I will try to update this post but most likely will forget to.

Maybe I didn't read the product description well enough but when this arrived I was at least a 5 year old models shell with newer guts just way too big and heavy for us so we returned it for something new. BB was great about the return which I did in store

Please be aware, that these laptops are sold with non-valid activation key. I tried reaching BestBuy, but each time I called (in total 3) I've been forwarded to multiple departments 3-6 n each call and no result by the end of the call where line is being disconnected at the end.

I purchased this a longtime ago for my brother who works with big files, he still uses it and wants me to get him another one
