I purchased my HP Envy 17" laptop in December but didn't pick it up until January. I have it now for 10 weeks. I love it. I was looking for a laptop with a large screen and the latest technology package. I got exactly what I wanted. The large screen is crisp and bright with great resolution. The processors are very fast and the entire system is very reliable. I was moving from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and the transition was unbelievably easy. There are similar features and the migration and learning curve were very easy to grasp. The HP is well laid out and the many features make it worth the price. The Bang & Olufsen sound system is also very good. The Geek Squad did a super job transferring my old laptop files etc. to my new HP. All in all, I am very happy with Best Buy and the purchase.

I initially purchased a gaming laptop that had a lot more memory than this one and also cost a few hundred dollars less. I had to return that one due to how slow in general it was. Turned around and bought this one. Had to install remote work on it and this is lightning fast! Easy to use and love the size of the screen.

I'm still getting to know this product, but so far, it's much easier to adjust to than I expected. The colors and clarity of everything on the screen knock me flat. Great machine for artists like me. Speed of opening big programs and big files is surprising. I'd recommend this to experienced techno-heads as well as those of us who learn a little more slowly.

Good performance for the price. Primary use is for video editing. Still has a CD/DVD drive. Screen is bright with great resolution and the sound from the internal speakers is great. keyboard is comfortable. Good option for a desktop computer replacement. May need to consider an external SSD for extra storage capacity.

I haven't had much time to really work w/it so far. What little time I've had using it I do like. Very fast start up, nice screen, I like the touch screen. Only thing I don't like so far is, it seems the battery isn't replaceable. I could be wrong about that, haven't had time to really check it out.

I had another HP 17" laptop for about 7 years. It was still doing okay, but getting a little slow and the battery was shot so I needed to keep it plugged in to run. I finally decided to get a new computer before my old one went out. Wow, I did not even realize how slow my old computer was getting. I was used to starting it up in the morning and waiting a minute or so for it to start running my applications. This new computer does it within a second. The only thing I noticed is a slight difference in sound. This new computer sounds more crisp, but my old one had more bass in it and sounded more rich. They both sound good, but I kind of prefer the deeper sound of my old computer, but it did have the Beats Audio and my new one has Bang and Olufsen. Still love how long my HP's last!

Buying a computer can be stressful and confusing. Especially if you have never looked into computer specs before. Not only can it be confusing but it can be intimidating. There are so many different specs to look at and understand and you don't always know what you need in a computer. I looked and looked at many different stores online and I have always trusted Best Buy, they are a very well known brand and I have shopped with them before. When ordering this laptop it arrived within a week. I use it mostly for school and I do play the sims 4 a lot. It operates very well. It runs the sims 4 very well too. The graphics and load times are amazing. The fan gets a little loud when running more intense games, but I have never found it to be a distraction. The computer does control heat pretty well. I am in love with it and it is the best laptop I have ever owned. The features and specs are great and honestly the price is not bad compared to other computers with the same specs.

I work from home on an extremely busy server and network, and this laptop never skips a beat. It's lightning fast with amazing graphics and sound. I work 10 hour days and it keeps up with everything. I HIGHLY recommend this unit for working from home.

It has just about all the features I wanted in a laptop. This is the 1st computer I've had with a solid state hard drive and it boots up very quickly. The screen is great. The keyboard takes a little getting used to because it's not centered, it's off to the left. Like the fact that the screen is a touch screen and can navigate without using the mouse. This is a home computer and I mainly use it to browse the web, genealogy, Light Room for photography, and I also use Google's sketch up. It does all of this fine. I am very pleased with its performance and would highly recommend this to anyone as an all around good home computer. I shopped around and for the price you can't beat it with all the features it has.

It had been a while since I purchased a new laptop and I am thrilled with my selection. Geek Squad got me all set up and loaded all the software that I needed and added links to make it easier to launch them. The computer itself is amazing. Great 17" HD screen. Intel Core i7 is blazing fast. 12GB Memory allows for multiple screens to be open with fast access. You can't go wrong with this computer. It even has Bang & Olufsen speakers......Awesome!!!

I am enjoying learning a new system with a touch screen. This is my first new laptop in 9 years and I must say not having any software is a negative. I really like having a switch for the camera and the speed and responsiveness of the entire system is amazing!!! The real test will be how well everything works one year from now...

The only thing that would make it better would be a lighted keyboard and/or darker characters on the keyboard. It is fast and has enough usb ports and the optical drive which is getting harder to come by. It replaced a much more expensive laptop that I had for 9 years. Hopefully, this one will last that long! I am very pleased with it so far. I love the touch screen. It gives me 3 options to move around the screen as I use the extra USB for my mouse and the scroll bar. I'm old school! For me, it has it all!

This laptop functions much faster than the old one I had. The startup and installation process was easy. It’s a nice computer. I would like to see keys that are more visible. I am keeping an eye on the screen hinges, they look like they have the potential to break over time. But so far, I am pleased with this laptop

My last laptop was a Sony VAIO that lasted me a whole 10 years, so it's been a while since I upgraded. So far, I really enjoy this laptop! The graphics are awesome. Startup time is ridiculously fast. The processor is very quick. Good job, HP!

We've only owned the product a few weeks but it appears to be a well built sturdy computer. It has a large screen, fast ,and good battery life. My only worry is the computer rests on the hinge when it's open and tha concerns me although todaate no issues.

I love this laptop. Had to get the 17" screen due to my slipping eyesight. This laptop is very fast and has caused no problems or issues. I love the touchscreen and the SSD makes boot up so much faster. Love it.

Awesome computer. Fast, phenomenal screen clarity, great sound, touch screen is responsive. It is a large computer so you know you're going to deal with a bit of weight, but overall an excellent computer.

Set up was so easy and require a minimum of time. The 17.3" screen is great, especially, when working with Excel spreadsheets and Quickens. I would recommend this laptop. The graphics are outstanding!

Bought it for the speed and the size of the screen. Both are amazing. The colors pop, and the screen is just the right size for what I need.

Sleek style, keyboard sets back a little from the edge giving room to rest your wrist; speed is great; the screen is large & the resolution is bright & clear.
