I acquire this laptop as a Christmas gift for my son, he was so excited when he got it he does a lot of online gaming and this laptop did that and more. I highly recommend this laptop you will not be disappointed .

This laptop is used by myself and my wife for all home and business use. We have had to throw our Windows 7 based computers out because they are so slow compared to this machine. Having had Windows 8.1 on my travel laptop (now Windows 10) I found it very easy to setup and use. Have added all personal files very quickly from our exterior backup hard drive. It will take awhile to get use to Corona!! I just usually work till I solve the issue. This machine would be great for anyone of any age level.

I have not had the computer very long but so far I am very satisfied with it. It is very fast compared to my old one. I like a lot of the features it has. The key board is nice and the screen is plenty big. The Bang & Olufsen audio is nice. I also like the the 3-D Intel RealSense camera. I would recommend this computer to friends and family. I believe it is a nice computer and the price was reasonable. I have a H/P printer which works great so I can say I have had good luck with H/P products.

I've done constant research on what laptop I wanted to call my own for a couple of years and the HP Envy 17.3 is it. This laptop is a beast on paper is a beast. There are sometimes when its blazing fast and other times where it hiccups and I'm just wondering like what happened? I initially bought this laptop to run Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign and a bunch of other Creative Cloud apps. It handles these programs and others like a champ easily. The only reason the HP Envy 17.3 got 4 stars is because this is my second unit and it has some screen bleeding. Its not bad where it effects my everyday work but it's only noticeable when you're starting up the screen or the whole entire background is pitch black. I thought how in the world can I get two laptops with the same exact screen bleeds? After doing some research it seems Best Buy got a bad batch from HP. Do I necessarily believe that? No. But it does help me sleep at night. Keep in mind this bad screen bleed is for the silver/charcoal laptops. Haven't seen anything mentioned for the all silver one. Aside from screen bleed that has been my only issue so far with the HP Envy 17.3 and I would recommend it.

This was purchased for my grad student son, whose laptop was showing its age. He reports that he's very happy with it. It's fast, does his gaming stuff very well and is a big improvement. over his old computer.

It is a bit too heavy, battery runs down too fast in my opinion and doesn't have the best camera. Apart from those, it is a great laptop. It has all you would need in a laptop.

Good speedy setup, pretty battery intensive, first one I exchgd, battery wouldn't stay chrgd, 3 to 4 hours only on full battery.

I'm very impressed with almost every aspect of this laptop. The graphics are amazing, tons of memory and awesome speed. The only feature I was a little underwhelmed with was the speakers. I would have thought the Bang & Olufsen speakers would have a bit more bang to them even for a laptop.

I bought this laptop knowing that it isn't missing anything, I powered it up and got connected to the internet and had nothing but problems afterwards, he would always say page couldn't be found click here to fix issues, troubleshooting would start and say no issues detected, when it would bring up webpages they were extremely slow to come up, my other HP envy with a I-7, 8gb is way faster than this one here, I was really wanting to upgrade to the 17" screen, but this computer is really sluggish, when it powers up and the screen is black you can see green tint in both bottom corners, only thing I was impressed with is that there aren't fingerprints all over the screen after touching it quite abit, I thought maybe I just got a bad computer but there seems to be a lot of people leaving bad reviews on this computer, I will keep the one I have for a while longer and try something else again in the future.. also this computer is very heavy, I have a adjustable bed and I would put this laptop on my legs with the back of my bed raised and my legs would actually starting hurting from the weight of this computer, I returned this computer and got my money back.

I purchased this laptop to replace my old HP DV7 that was having display issues. I think I know what the problem is and have the part to fix it but I needed a working machine right away. It's a solid machine with good speed and capacity. I do have three gripes however. I don't like the touchpad and the lack of left and right buttons. As far as I can tell you cannot scroll with the touchpad either. The covers on the underside are too rounded and smooth. It is always sliding off of my laptop cart. The slightest bump and I have to be fast and catch it before it hits the ground. So far I've been lucky but I know one day I wont be fast enough. Finally, it doesn't come with any kind of word processing software. Microsoft wants you to rent office for a monthly fee or buy outright for $300ish. For $900 I expect a machine I can work with not a machine with incomplete software. If I had known that before I purchased I would have shopped harder.

Love my new HP laptop. Great graphics and sound. Love the touchscreen. I play a lot of games and watch a lot of movies. Very user friendly. Recommend this laptop for anyone. Easy to set up and start using.

The salesman at Best Buy told us about this computer. They did not have one on display and he said for $50 more we could get twice the RAM so we bought this one. It is very fast and love the touch screen!!

This laptop is amazing, is top of the line, and has all the bells and whistles that I wanted for my upgrade from my old desktop. Is sleek with a standard keyboard as well as touch screen - great feature.

Excellent laptop for the price. Has everything you need and more. Is a little heavy but not really an issue. Still learning windows 10 but seems pretty simple and easy.

It is a little heavy, But the beautiful display screen is worth it! Touch screen works awesome and the battery last so much longer that I could ever expect. It is speedy, and just wonderful all around.

Pretty happy with this beast so far, bought it to replace a little netbook, so a huge speed increase and screen is much bigger, but a lot heavier. I have yet to travel with this, so I can't comment on extended battery life (seems ok around the home) or portability. Apparently the modern track pads no longer have the scrolling feature on the edges, miss that. Facial recognition for login is a plus.

Since my purchase, this computer has been great. Love the touch screen. I'm a past Dell computer purchaser and after being frustrated with their customer service and support, I tried something new.

Great PC. The only real negative on the PC is the weight. When travelling, it gets a bit heavy to carry around.

I'm running unreal 4, blender, Microsoft visual studio plus no problems at all. This laptop has a huge screen. Fast and runs xcom 2 pretty nice
