computer is capable of a great deal more than I am, LOL impressed with batt life wish it had a ssd hd

I had or;iginally looked at a different laptop when i was comparing computers on another computer. But when i got to the store the computer that i was going to get they did not have in supply acoind no longer on sale. The sales person asked if i was set on that computer and i said that i would look at HP"s and he pointed this one out to me which was cheaper than one i was looking at and deffinately a better computer with all of its options

I purchased this as a replacement for a 17" HP Pavilion. It's blazing fast with lots of memory. My only gripe is the lack of a numlock "on" light, and the fact that it turns off every time the computer is powered off. It seems the 17" size is going away, so I was happy to find this one.

Great for all of my needs. Windows 10 is more than I expected!

The laptop is great. It runs smooth and doesn't get overly hot. The speakers are fantastic! It has a super clear picture. I was nervous about Windows 10 but I find that it isn't as bad as I had expected. Windows 7 is still my favorite but I have to adjust with the times. One issue is the inside surface of the laptop. It shows every smudge from your fingers and ends up looking like someone finger painted with oil. The other issue is the size of it. The screen is no bigger then my old one but the laptop itself is bigger and is hard to sit on my lap.

It operates similar to my Surface Pro 3 so unlike my prior laptops which operate more like desktops. But I do like the storage capacity and the large screen. It takes up less room than a desktop but too large to carry around when traveling.

It works very well, the speed is good, the HD image is great and the graphic card is good. The screen is big, but if you like watching movies it is worth it. It is a bit heavy but that is because the screen is 17.2". Over all very satisfied.

My 3 star rating is based on the fact that my latch that allows you to rotate the screen open and close broke within the first year. I have been to one repair shop and he couldn't figure out how to fix it so I am still searching for a way to repair it. I reached out to HP and they wanted to charge me like $700. With that being said, the performance, look and power of the computer is AMAZING. No complaints there. Fast, can handle anything you throw at it and surprisingly good battery life given the power. TOuch screen is very responsive too. If it weren't for the construction issue, this is a 5 star computer easy.

It has been a great computer. I have had to learn how to use windows 10 but I am getting there.

Great for small business applications and more than adequate for gaming.

I am pretty loyal to HP's and this one is just sweeter than the last. This is the first time I have had touch screen and it is really cool. I don't use it all of the time but still nice feature. I have not had any problems with Windows 10 and am truly enjoying my new computer

This a great computer to have if your doing multiple things at once or like to have 10 plus Windows open at once... The Intel core i7 processor really maximizes the potential with no lag time and it has great amp not of memory and graphics card all for a reasonable price...

It definitely has everything I wanted. HD screen, a lot of ram, i7 processor, a lot of hard drive space, a optical drive which every laptop doesn't have, and ports and connections

Works great, lot of storage, powerful . Bought for my son's school work and video obsession.
