Overall, this is a great laptop. The only issue we keep running into is the mouse disappears and only comes back when we reset the device. Luckily since it's a touchscreen that's not difficult but still mildly annoying.

I like the fact that the HP Envy has a touch screen. It is nice to type on keypad and to also input on to the laptop's screen. The key pad's back lighting is great in the low light settings I work in. it is very quiet and cool...it has not heated up with fan coming on as in the HP I replaced with this model...still learning Windows 10 so I do not know all of what this computer will do.

I purchased this particular HP laptop as it has a 17.3 inch screen which suits mine and my wife's needs. I enjoy the larger screen and the processor makes everything come in quickly and I am able to handle multiple tasks at one time. I also enjoy having the 16 GB memory 1TB hard drive. I have been able to store a lot of information and pictures on my system. The touch screen has been very helpful.

larger touch screen is great to work with. excellent keyboard and back lighting allows work in low light surroundings. like speed of computer and storage.

Although it's a great laptop, I had to return it because I needed at different touchpad...one with the right and left buttons included for Photoshop editing ....it's what I am used to and no time to retrain my brain

This computer is great! I love the sound and the speed is excellent. I really like the touchscreen part too. You definitely get your money's worth!

Cost more that we had planned on spending, but has the power we need and the built in CD/DVD drive. Works good so far. Can't wait to start editing videos with it.

Solid laptop with a good backlit keyboard. Determined later it was not the best price. Not too portable but works for us.

Not a bad product if you want a system that has a 17" screen. The sound is good and the feature are fine. The system does not operate as fast as would be expected.

For most, this laptop will handle just about everything thrown at it. The i7 CPU along with 16gb of RAM is ample to keep the operating system and applications running smoothly, even with some reasonable multi-tasking. The dedicated Nvidia graphics card is just fine for video and light gaming, though don't expect to run the latest games on anything but low-end settings. The touch screen is responsive, but totally unnecessary, since this is not a 2-in-1 style that folds back into tablet mode, or even supports any type of active stylus. The screen looks nice and crisp, even though it is a 1080p resolution. Drawbacks are the speakers and hard drive, though. Standard plate hard drive included is slow and gets bogged down when not maintained. A solid state hard drive was highly beneficial in the overall performance of this machine. The speakers are Bang & Olufsen branded, though they sound to me like any typical mediocre internal laptop speaker. This isn't too much of an issue for me, since I'd normally be using headphones if I need audio, anyway, but it was pretty disappointing since B&O's other stand-alone products are so great.

Best lappy with the most latest configuration available at The best price.. Screen quality and command processing is too good.., but a bit slow at booting..

Only down side to this purchase is the battery duration. Other than that, a awesome pc for both school work and gaming.

Everything is great, the quality and all. The only thing I don't like is the touch pad mouse jumps around a lot and the screen font changes randomly easily.

Really love the laptop, speed is good for what I have been doing up to now, will see how editing programs affects it.

I'm sad to report we are an Apple family however there are times when a PC is a necessity and for our embroidery business I needed a decent PC that could do the job and I am very satisfied with this unit.

This product is performing as one would expect from and experienced manufacturing company. My last experience with a new laptop lasted two weeks. HP has been able to again deliver an excellent product which I expect to last for several years,

I purchased the computer and asked if it would run an extended screen and was told "yes" - that it just needed a VGA to USB adapter. I purchased the adapter. I couldn't get it to work so tookcomputer and adapter back to Best Buy. In a few minutes the geeksquad person got it to work. When I got hom,e it worked. I hadn't normally powered down at night so a couple of days later I rebooted and got the screen of death. Took it in, paid an additional $280 to have Geeksquad coverage They wiped the computer clean though supposedly backing up and reinstalled windows 10. They couldn't specifically tell me what was wrong. The next day I hooked up my extended screen and later rebooted the computer and again got the screen of death. I talked with HP and finally figured out it was a driver problem with windows 10 which is a known problem all over the internet yet Best Buy plays dumb. I still haven't gotten the extend screen to work and continue to pursue the correct driver. I just don't expect to spend a $1000 on an HP laptop and additional monitor to get misinformation from Best Buy tech people. HP tech #1that I spoke to was excellent. tech #2 didn't have the skill to understand and help me resolve the problem. Perhaps I will be lucky and get tech #1 again. I will NEVER use the Geeksquad again. They are arrogant. I have asked to have my $280 refunded.

THIS NOTEBOOK COMPUTER REPLACED MY DESKTOP AND HAS SIGNIFICANTLY GREATER SPEED AND STORAGE AND GIVES ME THE ADDED ADVANTAGE OF BEING PORTABLE..

I needed big screen and needed more space for keeping VM. Serves my purpose well. Little bulky for carrying around.

We purchased this for our photographer daughter after her laptop started having issues with her heavy workload. She loves how crisp and beautiful the colors are with this new laptop. She hates that she waited so long making her old one work. She loves HP brand and this is her new favorite. Her colors pop off the screen and it is much easier for her to edit with the touch screen. Takes a bit of getting used to but very nice feature.
