Excellent Computer For My Purpose
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this computer in-store because I was starting an information security certification course and needed a computer that can handle running multiple virtual machines and offensive/defensive apps. As for it's preload I can't comment on it since I formatted it and added Windows 8.1 (required for my course). It came with Windows 10 and knowing HP probably had some proprietary bloatware, but still I don't know since I immediately formatted the drive. It runs very cleanly, and the hardware performance is spot on for what I need.

It does everything! Windows 10 at it's best.

I tried to update to Windows 10 and it was a mess and It lacked Bluetooth and had no backlit keys. This new Envy does it all.The new 3D camera is mind-blowing. The back lit keyboard is the brightest I have seen.
