Colorful screen, perfect for the desk! The touch screen eliminates the need for a mouse. The laptop has serviced me well for the last year.

Before I purchased it, I tried 3 other HP ones and all were equipped with a noisy hard drive. This one is quiet, fast and I really like the 17.3" screen.

Great computer at a great price. While I didn't need the additional ram for gaming, it has greatly improved my multi-tasking of memory intensive programs.

This is a fast solid laptop, screen is huge and looks great. We needed a computer upgrade to be able to play an online game.

My previous laptop died after many years of use. The HP Envy was on sale at Best Buy, but they had an open box for about $100 savings under the sale price. It met all the requirements I was looking for in a new laptop. The laptop comes up fast and works over and above my expectations. It pulled me out of a jam working on classmate information for our class reunion. I have had no issues with it since the purchase and would recommend it for purchase.

I have enjoyed my new tablet. I especially enjoy the clarity of the screen and the weight of the tablet.

Computer is very responsive and very fast right out of the box. My only complaint is that the 17 inch is kind of big.

I did not buy a computer for years & couldn't decide between a laptop or a desktop.... I went with the reviews & am so glad. My mind was blown by all the possibilities with this laptop. It's an unfolding adventure to become acquainted with all the apps. I'm 55 & feel like I caught up somewhat with my kids.. I like that I can load a disc into it. Can't believe the speakers are so good; I often leave it on just to have the music running.

It is to use and navigate the web. Clear sound and great picture. Easy to install programs and use. Great for someone who does a lot of gaming.

After speaking with the Best Buy Rep and doing some research on the web I went ahead and purchased it. Firsth the laptop is pretty heavy and although easy to set up I am now starting to have some problems with it, mostly freezing up and also the cursor is sticking so I get flashes of pop up screens to where I have to do a hard shut down. it could just be the computer I bought. Anyways, go in and test it first instead of buying online. Hopefully it will not take much to fix it

My laptop came with a broken internal microphone. Unfortunately, I did not try using the microphone until after the Best Buy return window. I noticed after about a month of usage. I spent 7 hours with HP tech support and they finally decided to have me send it to them for repair. It is, of course, still under warranty, but part of HP's troubleshooting process was for me to wipe the laptop and go back to factory presets. This process alone took nearly four hours on my laptop. All the time I spent installing software and migrating things to my new laptop will need to be repeated. Had I noticed the issue during the Best Buy return period, I would have returned it and bought something else. Now I am waiting for it to be returned from HP (more downtime without my new laptop) and I hope there is nothing else wrong with it. I have never had such trouble with a brand new laptop. I regret the purchase and wish I would have bought something else. If you buy this product, check your internal microphone immediately, and check and see if your hard-drive is overly slow.

This laptop has all the features I needed 4 USB outlets big viewable touch screen. Light weight for the size . Heavy duty hinges. Great sound

im a avid gamer and daily user to the web and this notebook out performs others that i have owned or used . i Highly Recommend this laptop

Was purchased, primarily for a family member to play the Sims. The computer has been working great for that.

Still early to pass full judgement as I haven't owned it very long. But I have had a # of problems,some of which I'm not sure I can blame on the laptop.

Laptop operates as it should. Good by the the dough. Touch screen works well. i7 is great. Wish it had a solid state drive; but whatever.
