This is a replacement for an 7 year old Gateway laptop that quit working. I love this computer. It has features I have never seen. I don't like Win 10, but that is were we are heading. Fortunately, I have found a work around that makes it more like my Win 7. I have no regrets choosing this laptop over others and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Very happy with this computer so far. Photos load and transfer fast, webpage downloads are quick as well. i7 processor is much faster than the i5 in my old laptop.

Powerful enough for Windows 10 games. Forza plays just fine.

Computer has ascreen as large as desk top but Is portable. Windows 10 had a little problem but it was fixed with one phone call. I did a lot of reading and looking at laptops before purchasing I believe this to be the best buy in the price range.

This is one awesome laptop! I use this for personal and work and did not have any problems. Easy to setup even though took a while to get used to Windows 10. Some complaints were due to gaming. I do not use this for that purpose. YouTube comes out very clear as well as dvd's. If you need a laptop for other than gaming, this is an excellent laptop.

I'm still not through working out the bugs with the laptop. I've had little issues with this laptop since I purchased it a month ago. It had a problem displaying some text and images in the startup menu on the first time I used it. After moving some links around it seems to have cleared itself up. Not sure if the graphics card or the OS was the issue. Battery doesn't last as long as I hoped. On a full charge I get maybe 4 or 5 hours. I usually use the wireless connection to our network, but had to connect a hardwire for my ISP, but the connection kept going out. Not sure why, I have not had time to look at this issue yet. I might need to call HP. Laptop could be better.

I like the computer. It does what I want it to, when I want it to. I have large hands so the larger keyboard is excellent. On a trip I was able to stay in touch with family keep up with my e-mails so all in all I am happy with HP Envy.

I bought this laptop to replace a HP I bought back in 2009 a HP Pavilion DV7 1285dx. I really like the face recognition on this model to sign on. This model seems well built and I see HP changed the hinge design from the earlier models to better design on this model.

I've only been using the HP Envy for a couple of weeks but so far I'm really enjoying it. I've encountered a couple of minor issues that have warranted a phonecall or chat session to HP customer service but I am happy to report that I've received consistently great customer service and they have resolved each issue without any headaches!

Easy to use. Like the larger screen and available tools.
