This replaces an older laptop for my wife. She truly enjoys the larger size and power this unit offers. I was lucky to catch it on sale. Thank you to the Geek Squad for one day turn around when asked to transfer data from the old laptop to the new laptop and set it up for her.

Happy with product... After I received one that worked. The one I picked up in the store had an issue with the display, but Best Buy handled the return and shipped me another one pronto. It is an affordable upgrade for the average user.

I needed to have a cd drive and the extra USB ports. I have embroidery software and embroidery designs that are on CDs. The designs that are downloaded on USB are sometimes placed on smaller USB that work better in my embroidery Maxine

I did my research before purchasing this laptop and I'm pleased. you can read up on the specs yourself, but it runs very smoothly and has plenty of storage room. I use it as a casual laptop to surf the web, Netflix, shop, and pay bills

Best Buy Rep was extremely helpful. This rep had more knowledge of the apps and uses than we knew were available. Needed Ipad fir school, budget was huge consideration. In store purchase was the right choice and has allowed us to be more prepared for upcoming school year.

Not sure whether buggy operation of this machine is related to the Chrome browser or something else. Problem is so intermittent it is hard to report, and it occurred outside the return window. This is not a machine I would recommend.

My HP Envy Laptop computer is exactly what I need for the CAD-CAM program that I use and it is only written for PC/Windows 10. Since I am a Mac user I did not think this would work out for me, but I was wrong.

Great computer all over but only offset to this is the Battery capacity as if your always on the go this is not a great one if you cant find a wall outlet to be charged in. great specs but battery is the only down side to it.

Computer crashes and has annoying msgs and pauses. Cannot find "correct" driver to install. From looking at Google, it appears to be a known problem -- for awhile! Very sloppy.

I needed to get started on the computer the night I bought it. Thanks to Contara answering a few questions for me I had no trouble at all setting up the PC. It has great graphics, sound and ease of operation. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new computer.

I bought this laptop for the graphics capability and have enjoyed it greatly. I am a fan of HP products anyway and this one has lived up to my high expectations.

I got this laptop for gaming as well as for use of programming. The first year it was good but then the audio jack and volume started to mess up until it stopped working. The laptop also tends to glitch alot on the screen since its touch screen enabled causing it to go crazy when I first turn it on. The last issue that has been happening recently is the wifi card completely disconnects about 3 times an hour which is very frustrating. It's a decent laptop, it has nice features and doesn't overheat. However for that price I didn't expect it to start messing up so quickly.

I was very excited about this new laptop. It had Windows 10 preinstalled. However, once the setup was made on the computer within three days it did not update and had a message that it did not connect to the Windows Group Policy. Took the first laptop back and exchanged for the same model because it was everything I wanted. The second laptop of the same model was even worse. It could not even be set up as the graphics problem started before the laptop had been set up. Took this one back. Therefore, with two of the same model problematic I would not recommend to a friend. However, if it had worked it would be everything I was looking for.

My second HP computer and I am pleased with the choice. I previously had XP operating system (which I did not like) and then Windows 7 (which I was very happy with). I am NOT yet a fan of Windows 10, but I am trying.

I have 6 HP Laptops and all are still running. This goes back several years. I've even started donating laptops to my son's friends because they are often better than what his friends are using.

Issues with several previous PCs but last PC appears to be solid. Fast PC with a large quality display. PC should have had a SSD in place of the -1 TB disk drive.

I bought the computer to replace my aging laptop. It has exceeded my expectations.After working on it for a couple of days I purchased a second one for my wife to replace her laptop. We now use them as our primary computers in place of our desktop.

This laptop has been wonderful. I have had Adobe Cloud running (DC, Illustrator, Photoshop...all three at the same time), Microsoft excel VBA, and other programs...didn't skip a beat. Only a bit slow on startup, but given the power...WELL worth it.

This is definitely the best laptop I've ever had. And I've had a lot. Very fast i7 processor with 16 GB ram, runs photoshop and Lightroom easily. I'm a happy camper. No buyers remorse here. Especially since I got it on sale and open box. Woo hoo!!!

This laptop was purchased for my daughter as she started her MBA. It was a Best Buy Certified reconditioned laptop. It seemed to function well except that the screen had a bright spot, so it was exchanged for another, which had the same type of problem. Fortunately it was discovered within the return period. As a side note, I have this model and have used it for months with no problems, so hers must have been from a batch with problem screens.If you buy one of these, I guess I would just advise checking it out thoroughly when you get it. It is a good value, if you get one that works 100 percent.
