I had been purchasing inexpensive laptops for economic purposes. I bought this larger, faster laptop and am very pleased with its performance. I use it for my home office and it is very efficient for my usage.

I did two weeks of research and it feels great typing my overly satisfied review. Exactly what I wanted at an amazing discounted price. Saved over $200. Weight is not a factor for me due to the outweighing features. Literally my Best Buy of 2016.

Have managed to get some things loaded and running through the training that's built in, this is all helping for someone not that familiar with computers. It seems to have everything I wanted and more. Time will get me up to speed. A great buy.

I think this product sucks for the amount of money I paid for it. The battery sucks and when it comes awake from sleeping it takes about 10 minutes to have a functional use of the "mouse" (rather, the cursor)

I bought the HP Envy as an investment for post-retirement work opportunities. I needed a machine that had cutting-edge technology and potentially longer than average functionality. In addition, the 17.3" screen is great for viewing video.

Great laptop. A little heavy for carrying around. If you are going to be doing a lot of carrying around, I would probably go with a smaller one. But other than that is a great laptop.

I am very happy with my new HP laptop. I have been a Toshiba guy for years, but was not pleased with the current models. I took a leap of faith based on my salesperson's recommendation and have been completely pleased with my purchase.

Great graphics on the screen, seems fast to operate, not totally jazzed about the mouse pad. Would rather have left and right buttons instead of area.

This laptop has all the bells and whistles. A great 3D camera. Full size number pad. Doby sound. DVD \ CD slot. Fantastic game card. Ample hard drive space. I love this laptop.

I have always been fond of HP products. I have use 3 HP laptops in my career as a CPA and never had any issues. They have all been easy to setup and load software. I highly recommend an HP for accounting and bookkeeping type work.

very touchy computer one time the screen went black on me without any notice and I had to call my tech. I like my other computer better.my Toshiba was great compared to this never buy another hp

Amazing ultra modern computer, ite scans your face to log you in and you don't need to touch the keyboard, mouse or touch pad to control it, because the 3D camera reads the movements of your hands. No wonder it's called and Envy!

if it weren't for windows 10, I would have rated it a 5. They took a nice program, and completely ruined it. I want to return the laptop, because I can't begin to figure out how to use windows 10.

I have not used this computer to its fullest potential yet, but what I have used up to this point has been very satisfactory. I will have a better idea further on down the road. So far so good.

All the benefits of a desktop computer but portable. Only negative is the touch pad which is less sensitive than the touch screen. Can't seem to get it to work easily - have to hit the pad hard to get links to open sometimes.

Great for the use of graphic and video software. I use this for most of my editing and formatting work and it goes through the process without any problems. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought this laptop on a certified refurbished Geek Squad deal. When i got it home the screen continuously froze and the display would go black followed by a crash indicator when it would come back on. I went to the HP website and downloaded the most recent display driver, alas, this did not remedy the situation. I returned it the same week and got my money back. That was the only pleasurable experience I had with this laptop. I would read up on the display driver issues before purchasing this and recommend you look elsewhere for the cost.

Startup is fast, graphics are good, touchscreen works well, and the laptop doesn't overheat quickly. Battery life is so-so, but I hardly go outdoors with my laptop, so it works out for me.

Only reason why I am giving it 4 stars is because of the HDD @ 5200 rpm? Really??? Grab a SDD while you are at BestBuy it has a extra port for an internal one. Other than that love it!
