I thoroughly enjoy this laptop computer. It handles all of my daily computer functions. The camera is amazing, no more entering my password with the facial recognition!

I am moving from my older pc to this one. Win 10 makes interesting issues when pc is restored from sleep. Moves icons around as an example but the machine works fine.

This desktop laptop serves my needs well at home. It has operated without any significant issues. While I initially looked for a solid state computer for quick booting, this disk is fast enough and cost much less.

This laptop gives me the ease of a laptop, the size of a monitor and the touch screen of a tablet. It is a really awesome laptop.

I received this laptop Asa gift and after 3 months the hard drive burned out. A year and a half later I have a very expensive paper weight.

I purchased this in May 2015 and have had no issues with it. Only reason why it's not a 5 star because I can't find a laptop bag to fit it and the outside gets beated up fast.

I was looking at purchasing an Envy when it came up on the Deal of the Day. I jumped at the great discount. most laptops are now coming without a CD drive. That drive is a necessity for me and the Envy has it.

I'm glad I gave this laptop another chance! The first one that I purchased had terrible backlight bleeding and the graphics card had issues where it would glitch up, or completely crash the computer when I would open up a web browser or even try to watch a YouTube video. I went back and requested another unit the next day. This one works flawlessly thus far, and I am so thankful that I didn't go with another brand. For the money, you get many more features and performance with the Envy. I edit 4k video with Adobe Premiere, and the rendering times are very quick and playback is always excellent whilst editing. For general content users: like for web browsing and watching Netflix--of course this is top notch. The screen is excellent, but never too harsh on the eyes. I do like a laptop with decent sound, and this one brings a lot of body and fullness to just about any type of music with the Bang & Olufsen speakers. There isn't a lot of bass to be had, but I don't expect much from a laptop with that, and I normally wire up my own speakers anyway. I was pleasantly surprised with the gaming capabilities of this machine! I knew going in that I would mainly be using this laptop for content creation and for watching video, but I also wanted to be able to play my favorite Steam and PC games. I am pleased to announce that this laptop plays a LOT of games, even more modern ones, on either high or very high settings very well. There are no frame drops that I have noticed yet, and when I hook this up via HDMI to my monitor, the experience is top notch. The added "touches" like the touch screen are just icing on the cake for this brilliant laptop! I would recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a fairly portable (it is quite heavy and bulky) machine that can do just about anything you throw at it. Content creators, web surfers, moderate gamers and anyone else who likes to be entertained would be the ideal demographic for the HP Envy. So that means you, reader. If you're on the fence about this laptop, don't think another moment! I had to go thru a few laptops in this price point to finally land on this one. Going as far to say It is the fastest computer I have owned would not be out of the question; and I have owned probably 15-20 different computers--including MacBook Pro and iMac--during my lifetime. That is saying something.

I was leery because of the Windows 10 Operating System. I am not as comfortable as I was with my Windows 7.Honestly I have a whole lot to learn yet, but so far it seems not as intimidating as I first thought.

Discovered that I am much happier to have the mobility of a lap top verses a stationary PC. Last PC used Vista XP which I hated and was pleased that this new HP lap top which once again offered offered intel.

I am very happy with my HP laptop... super happy. I am slowly getting used to windows 10 and only bought a laptop when I HAD to just to avoid W10.. but this HP laptop was worth having to use the new windows.

I have had this computer for over a year. It's wifi card had issues and had to be sent in for service. The left hinge broke in less than a year. Google it, it's a known problem on this computer. HP blamed me for it breaking and I had to fight for a warrenty fix. The computer is powerful, just have had problems with it. The hinge will probably break again because it's plastic. So, now I just use this lap top only at home. I am going to buy a different brand lap top to use for travel.

My wife's old laptop computer quit working and we were looking for a new one that was easy to set up and use. This laptop met all of our qualifications.

I purchased this 6 months ago. The realsense 3D camera has never worked right. I let it pass because I don't have much use for it. I do have use for the "W" key and the space bar, however. I have to firmly press those keys multiple times to get them to work. I am meticulous when it comes to keeping my laptop free from dust. I never eat or drink near it. The battery life is much shorter than was advertised.

It is perfect. The sound is great. I downloaded my photos and video's from my iPhone on my new laptop and they are clear and just beautiful to view.

I do not have cable TV, so this computer is how I watch shows, movies, etc. I damaged my previous laptop and needed a replacement, so I chose to replace it with a model similar to my previous laptop.

This is my second HP Laptop - 4 if you include ones I've bought for friends. This one has all the bells and whistle's and is a processing monster. Glad I bucked up as it wasn't cheap.

Love this new computer.....key board touch is very good, extra unexpected features are appreciated, screen display is sharp, response is quick! I do not use it for gaming so I can't rate it for that.

Great computer for whatever you need to use it for I got it for college and it meet all the needs I have for it. If you are looking for a great reliable computer I definitely recommend this to anyone.

My first laptop. Replaced my old table top. I don't transport it right now, and it is working very well as my home computer. But if and when I do need to carry it about, I think it will be very fine.
