More than satisfied with this purchase. I was looking for a laptop that was fast, memory of at least 16GB. Great value, has several great features. Extremely happy with this laptop purchase. I can easily connect remotely to my computer at work at anytime.

After the disasuster of my last laptop, almost anything would be good, but this HP laptop seems to have every category covered in glory. Great images on the screen, which is larger than the disasuster. Easy keyboard, nice wide touch pad, multiple USB ports, a CD drive. Durability I can't judge - it's new.

This was an excellent buy with a huge amount of memory and great performance. It was extremely easy to set up with the touch screen and cursor. Plenty of hard drive space. Streams video extremely well due to the huge amount of memory available

I had a list of what I wanted in my next Lap top including back-lit key pad, Intel i7, touch screen, 17" screen, 1tb hard drive and a minimum of 8GB memory. This HP had even more than I desired including 16GB of memory and Bang and Olufsen sound. The shocker was the price, nearly $1000.00 less than anything comparable. I am exceptionally pleased with my purchase.

This computer replaces my HP Pavilion dv7-1285dx running Windows Vista. While I am still learning Windows 10, this is a great computer and very well made. Purchasing this computer was an excellent choice and using Geek Squad to set it up and transfer my files was a wonderful experience.

HP has done it again. This is a great laptop. I only have 1 issue with it, it just seems slow sometimes to me. I had an i3 processor before this one and it seemed faster at some times compared to this one. This thing is great. It has a touchscreen, and it also has 3D camera that allows you to use and control the laptop without having to touch it, depending on the apps you are using. Its a 17.3" screen 4- USB 3.0 ports, HDMI output, VGA output. It has a B&O sound system with built in Sub. 16MG ram. It also has an Extra HD bay so you can add even more storage than it comes with. Which is a 1 TB drive. You will love this laptop. I do

I love my new hp envy; however, I bought it to rip cds and have talked to the geek squad, they want $99.99 to show me how to rip cds plus they told me I would have to buy software to enable the computer to perform ripping cds. Then I called hp and a gentleman walked me through the process,; somewhere along the line I got confused and gave up. Called hp later that night I called hp again; the representative could barely speek English and he told me you could not rip cds on windows 10 and that I needed to buy software to perform this task. I hung up on him as I had already ripped several cds without extra software. The next morning a women representative from hp called me. She walked me through the process and let me rip a couple of cds while she was on the phone with me. I am now ripping cds with no problem. It was a difficult process that should have been explained in a handbook which does not come with the computer. Other than that I LOVE my hp envy. It is great. The phone representatives should know more about the computer than I do because I am computer illiterate.

Excellent product. The price was great for the specifications provided with this laptop. Laptop is very fast on startup and runs smoothly. The laptop came with Windows 10, which I was not familiar with but did not present a problem when starting this laptop, just took a little time to learn how to use the new operating system. Great deal in my opinion.

Bought this unit for the lighted keyboard, gigantic gorgeous screen and fantastic price. Used mainly for light work like word processing, email and excel. Battery life has been great considering the large screen. Very snappy. Only possible downside is it is quite large, and it can be an cumbersome if you plan to carry it or work or travel.

I needed a device with a cd/ DVD drive when both my desktop and laptop failed. This laptop is heavy because it includes the extra hardware and doesn't process especially fast because the hard drive is not solid state. The 17 inch screen is nice so I think this will be my new "desktop". The touchpad takes a bit to get used to as there are no buttons to click, you either press the left or right edge of the touchpad. If I had to make the decision over again I would buy a lighter laptop with a ssd drive and an external cd/ DVDs drive
