Second HP we have purchased in 1 year. The first one was the "previous" version of this HP in the spring. It is still going strong, so when we needed to replace the other laptop, we looked again at HP. It is a good all around PC and having the extra memory is nice.

I will recommend 100% big screen, faster and easy to use.

I love my HP Envy! The touch screen is awesome! The backpack was a choice well made. It's roomy enough for my HP and all kinds of files. The Kaspersky antivirus is different, though. The jury is out on the antivirus. Office 360 is great. Now I need lessons. ;)

For the price and the performance this is a good deal.

This laptop is HUGE! and heavy. I went in looking for a desktop, but decided it would be nice to be able to take the computer to the easy chair if I wanted. I didn't really care that it was big for home purposes. Due to how big it is, I can't imagine I'll ever put it in a back pack and tote it around school or on an airplane. Otherwise, it's great! The greatest part of the bigness is the screen - extra large and sharp.

Love my new laptop with touchscreen and Windows 10

Even though I had a small glitch with my first one and had to exchange it, I have had no problems with this one. Clear screen and easy to see. Fast processor. A little heavy but what do you expect with a 17" screen.

I purchased for screen size and power. I think this has more than exceeded expectations. The screen is huge, which makes the laptop heavy, but it is worth it. The power, memory, and processing is awesome.

Not a fan of Windows 10 yet but this computer is the bomb. Fast. I am not a techie but for doing what I have to do it is great. I know it will be even better if I knew what I was doing most of the time.

This laptop is awesome, it is great for all of us with different ages and gender. It runs very smooth and has excellent windows 10 features, as well as the free antivirus that comes with it. Every thing is excellent and we are very satisfied.

This is a solid, good performing laptop. It is currently running AutoCAD Building Design Suite (AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP and Revit). AutoCAD runs well, no hiccups so far (but I've heard that as I get deeper into AutoCAD, there may be some glitches between ACAD and Windows 10. It's also running a couple of other less demanding graphics intensive programs and all seems to be well. I'm still figuring out how to get some things done in Windows 10 - everything else I own (another laptop and a desktop) are all running Windows 7. (Made a conscious effort to avoid Windows 8). I'm sure it will get better, it will just take time. Windows 10 seems to work well and better able to let me get up to speed, it's just ... different.

I am a senior in college and I used to do all my college work on my surface 2. The small screen became a problem so I went all out and purchased this AWESOME 17 inch laptop. It works like a charm!! I also upgraded it to a 480gb ssd from PNY and its flawless. It was flawless to begin with. Highly reccommend.

I bought the Envoy because I am a gamer and my daughter had bought a similar laptop a few months before. It has proven to be a nice laptop for gaming. The only drawback is that it is a little heavy to use on the lap, but does stay cool to the touch which is great.

The screen size is nice for older folks - the keys are a little larger which makes it easier to type. So far I had to call in the Geek Squad two times to take care of a problem. They were really great about it and patient with me, cause I ask a lot of questions.

Overall this is an excellent laptop, especially for the price. The CPU, graphics, and memory are more than adequate to handle almost any task with ease. Screen resolution and sound from the speakers are also excellent. I gave it 4 out of stars for two reasons: The hard drive that comes with the laptop (although large capacity) is rather slow. It took approximately 30-35 seconds for Windows 10 to boot up. However, I replaced the hard drive with a Samsung SSD (about $150 and 30 minutes time - easy to do yourself with a little technical knowledge) and this made an INCREDIBLE difference! Windows now boots up in about 5 seconds! The other reason only 4 stars is it only comes with a DVD-RW optical drive. Blu-Ray is not an option, and with a screen this size and resolution, it is a shame not to be able to watch Blu-Ray movies on it. Other than those two small details, this laptop is definitely worth the money.

I really like the large screen size, the speed of loading programs could be better considering the amount of memory in the computer. The computer is a little bit lighter and thinner than the previous model. As the summary title says, its a very good value!

I was just looking for a life gaming laptop and got more then I had hoped for. Nice laptop. My only complaint is battery life. But I have never came across a laptop with good battery life

I purchased a refurbished unit and it still had a couple of glitches. This one was my exchange which was handled very nicely at the store This unit is terrific. It is speedy and has lots of storage. The 3D graphics are fantastic.

Great laptop. Bought it five years ago and still works like the day I brought it home. I barley touched the memory on it. The only thin after five years is I have to replace the battery in it. Not to much of a big deal.

We're sr. citizens so like ease in use & this HP Evny fits the bill perfectly! Love the back light keyboard & other "every day" upgrades from our old laptop. HIGHLY recommend to anyone needing a great laptop that is easy to use.
