I returned a computer of this same size with a i3 processor and got this bad boy with a i7 processor and man what a difference! Its more responsive, the camera is extra sharp, and the battery is very good for those little trips around the house and wireless Bluetooth for those that dont like alot of cords. This is the best brand and size for HP and i love every bit of it, the one flaw that i am experiencing is the camera face recognition, but its actually gotten better with software updates from HP so i dont think it will be a problem in the near future.

I purchased this Laptop for my wife and she loves it. Big screen and lightening fast. She also likes the ease of typing on the keyboard.

Greatest computer i have owned yet, i got this because i can work on my music videos, and now i can play video games too

I needed a new laptop for development and online gaming. This laptop is able to handle both and is working like a charm.

I love my new HP. This laptop is fast. Transferred all data from my old HP to new HP and didn't slow down at all.

This is a large, powerful, and heavy laptop with a great display and good performance. As other reviewers have mentioned, there are a few problems. my main concern is the touchpad, which has simply stopped working for me several times when starting the computer. Other times when it does work, it is erratic. Overall, though, I still think it's a good laptop with a lot going for it, but it's far from perfect

After buying a Dell Desktop all in one this past fall, which was horrible and recommended by a Best Buy employee, this laptop was way more suitable for our graphic needs. Great price for the amount of memory and storage! Only con is the weight of the machine that makes it a little hard to carry around. Overall great laptop so far and we look to seeing how it performs in the long run.

I was in need of a laptop and my last one that I had lasted my a good while may it rest in peace lol but I just fell in love with this laptop. I love the space of the keyboard and the space of the key pad and well it is 3d so yeah

I bought this laptop for school after my older Dell laptop had finally crashed. This laptop has serious problems with the speakers. They crack, sound like static, have distortions where the sound is either compressed or elongated. The speed of the laptop is also not very good. The support people have no idea of how to fix issues relating to the sound and immediately want to set the computer back to the factory default settings (basically make it like it just came out of the box). I would not recommend this laptop. I had decided after my Dell that I would not buy another Dell, now after this HP I will not buy an HP again. I think I will make the leap to Mac.

I bought this Laptop around Christmas, I was in need of a good gaming and editing Laptop, I tried it out, the GTX 940M, was okay, but it could of been upgraded to a GTX 950. But in all the processor speed was great, and the 16 GB Ram was perfect!

I purchased this 16 GB Ram PC because I do programming for living and I need more power when I run my program to compiled and I don't need and buffing and delaying to process my work. I'm happy with my chose and HP didn't disappoint me so far.

This laptop is great for handling large loads, 3d camera is nice but upon first starting it up there are some bugs, and it crashes more than usual.

I am very pleased with my new computer. I am still discovering all of the cool features. I wish it was a bit lighter although it's a 17" monitor. Overall it is great!

Freezes. Stops. Black screen. I'm not trying to run NASA of my basement or anything. I'm seriously watching DVD's, Netflix, and loading library books onto my Nook. My 6 year old Samsung gave me less grief.

I bought this laptop about a week back and I have been having umpteen problems. For starters, I can never connect to Hotmail.com and I get an error all the time when I login :Windows couldn't connect to the group policy client service. This problem prevents standard users from signing in. I reverted to the original settings and basically re-installed everything. Still the problem persists. Second, I can never get any video to play on twc.com (Time Warner Cable). And Netflix keeps stopping and buffering.

Coming from Toshibas I was skeptical about going to HP. But sold on the features. This envy is great and for the things I use it for it has great performance. I would recommend this to anyone

This is a great laptop for anyone. It is fast and has a large hard drive. It is loaded with great features.
