This laptop has it all: 16GB DDR3 RAM, Intel 3D realsense camera, 4 speakers and subwoofer by Bang & Olufsen, 4 USB 3.0 ports (1 supercharged), 1 SD card reader, DVD burner, 1 HDMI port, combined headset/mic port, Intel 6th generation 6500u CPU, and Nivida 940M graphics. The touchpad takes getting used to, and the WD 1TB blue HD is only rated at 5400 RPM. HP support assistant included helps with the upgrade of drivers and programs. The sale price from the original listed price is fantastic.

Some things took some getting used to. At first I kept accidentally bumping the large touch pad and was odd having no buttons. Eventually adjusted and really like this product. Like the wide screen and touch screen. Runs well.

It has a very fast speed. Keyboard has light so you can even work in the dark. My husband works with big file and it holds it all. I love the touchscreen. It's so easy to work with

Bought this computer for a gamer who plays virtual games. Needed a good video card, and had other requirements--all of which this computer met. Delighted with computer, works well with no hesitation and is best he's ever had. Price higher than we'd have liked but has been a great purchase.

The Envy comes with everything you need in a computer with attractive look and feel. Best Buy included Kaspersky, which installed easily along with everything that needed updates. Works perfectly and the standout is the hi Def screen. I don't even touch it because it looks so good

Really amazing product. Performs well and even feels like it isn't a cheap piece of plastic like some laptops feel like. 3D camera is pretty cool. Bought it mainly for editing videos and performs excellent doing that

This computer has a quicker start up, it has the latest and greatest technology installed which is why I bought it. I searched other computer and most didn't have what this one did and cost upwards of $2000. Great value for the price

Computer runs great. Fast with short load times. Couple of issues. Sometimes on first boot touch pad wont work. have to restart. Also the display driver quits and restarts itself. minor issues hopefully will get fixed in updates.

My old HP laptop just decided one day that it was done. It would not boot up any longer. So, off to Best Buy for a new one. My other laptop had the large screen, which is important to me, and so does this one. It's a real boon when working remotely (I use a large monitor when at home). It's fast, boots up and ready to get on the Internet almost instantaneously. Fantastic camera, tons of storage. It quickly walks you through all the setup. Remember when you had to have your mountain of disks and hours of time to set up a new computer? No more! Overall awesome! I highly recommend this machine.

Time Stamp: 4 weeks of use. After much research and trial and error with another computer, this laptop was recommended to me by a knowledgeable computer expert. Although I was a bit hesitant at first, this computer has exceeded my and my wife's expectations. The design is beautiful. The aluminum casing is an added bonus, because the computer stays cooler for a longer period of time. Loads of RAM, and I've never had any slow-downs. I would recommend installing a SSD to complement the 16 gigs of RAM. Great purchase!

The HP Envy is a sleek looking laptop, but for the price, I feel that you can do just as good with a cheaper model. BUT - SOOOOOOO glad that they went back to more of the original specs of Windows prior to 8. Hated windows 8

My husband loves the large screen and the light weight. The price was right for all the functions it has. He is getting use to the new operating system. We got the geek squad which I highly recommend!

This laptop has pretty much everything you could want. Would have given it 5 stars, but the battery life has been terrible since purchase. Maybe 2 to 2-1/2 hours tops.

This computer looks great. Love the big screen. Was actually more than what I needed, but couldn't beat it for the price. A lot faster than my old laptop.

From purchasing to set up. Great experience with Best Buy. Any question I had answered on the spot. Great Customer Service. My Laptop is Phenomenal. 3d Facial Recognition, quick lots of storage big screen. Just what I need for School, home and games.

This laptop is just what I wanted. It had very impressive specs. The only thing slowing this laptop down is the hard drive. Swapping an ssd would make the most out of the 16gb of ram and the 6th Gen i7 processor. Other than that, this laptop is great!

Great laptop. Love the 17" touch screen. Lots of fun features. Been a few years since I bought a laptop. Windows 10 has been a bit of a challenge. Some basic written instructions would have been helpful. All-in-all I got a great buy on a great computer.

Was concerned about running some programs that were in my windows 7 and 8 laptops. Windows Live Mail and Google Chrome is working like a pro and I was told that the programs were not compatible with windows 10. Love the new windows 10. The start menu is back and that is a huge plus. The only problem that I ran onto was the video player playing some of my videos from (MOV) files. That was also a quick fix after did a little research and was able to download and install the older version of Quicktime Player. I'm a happy Camper and should be set for several more years.

The laptop screen is wonderful- very clear and crisp! My only issue with this laptop is battery life. The battery drains within a couple of hours of normal use.

Great all-around Laptop. It's way to heavy and large in size to be called a "notebook". It's not light, but it's not a boulder either. Great storage and memory for average business and student use. I use lots of graphics and video programs as well (novice level) and it does great for what I need. The touch screen is awesome and very functional. The only drawback is that you can't "flip" the screen to use it as a "tablet". If that was the case, this would've received 5+ stars.
