Awesome laptop that is super fast and easy to setup!

I didn't know what I would need. The team at Best Buy helped me so much. This is a sleek well put together laptop/tablet. It has so many nice features . Touch screen, facial recognition and more. It was and easy set up and I greatly enjoy finding new uses on the laptop every day.

My husband and I bought two of these HP Envy 2-in-1 laptops because we’re both PhD students and needed reliable, high-performance machines for data analysis. On paper, the specs looked perfect, more than enough for the statistical software we use daily (like STATA, R). Unfortunately, our experience hasn’t matched the specs. The biggest issue is the heat. Both laptops get extremely hot, especially around the hinge area where the screen and keyboard meet. This happens even with normal workloads, not just heavy analysis. It’s uncomfortable and honestly concerning for long-term durability. Performance has also been surprisingly disappointing. With 32GB RAM, we expected noticeably faster processing, especially when running large datasets. Instead, tasks in STATA often take longer than they did on our previous laptops with only 16GB RAM. Even outside of data work, the system sometimes slows down during regular multitasking, which shouldn’t be happening with these specs. To be fair, the screen, sound, and battery life are all good, and as a general everyday laptop it’s fine. But our main priority was strong performance for data analysis, and in that area it really falls short. It feels like the laptop isn’t using its hardware efficiently or is thermally throttling because of the heat. Overall, if you need a laptop for high-performance academic or data-intensive work, this one might not meet expectations despite the promising specifications.

So far so good. This is a pretty fast laptop, and even with multiple apps and tabs open, there is hardly any lag. The screen is excellent, and love the ability to use it as a tablet. Copilot so far seems more like a gimmick than any real use.

Very happy with my purchase. 5-star customer service and and good price. I was looking for an updated computer that would be capable of a desktop set up with extra monitor and keyboard as well as lightweight and portable for traveling purposes.

Perfect portable size. Very responsive screen and touchpad. Processor speed is fast. Has a good amount of ports - both USB-C, and USB-A - to make connecting devices or flashdrives a breeze.

Bought this to replace my HP Envy. I knew I needed more power, and I got it. This is an excellent buy. I gave up on HP products for a while, but the first HP Envy suited my needs perfectly. This HP suits my needs even more. Has everything I need and more.
