Customers are saying

Customers regard the Envy 2-in-1 laptop's screen size, performance, and ample RAM and storage as significant strengths. Many appreciate its ease of use, long battery life, and the inclusion of a touchscreen. However, some users miss the presence of a number pad and would prefer more USB ports. The lightweight design is also frequently praised.

Minus the issues with shipping, we love this laptop. It was suppose to be 2 days after we bought it. It never showed up. Customer service was great and offered to refund us or reorder it. We reordered it and got it a few days later. It is fast. The keys are comfortable and the backlight is great. The screen is big. I love the touch screen also. Battery lasts a few days easily.

I will always choose hp envy laptop. This is my second hp envy. It is a great laptop for those who needs to carry their laptop wherever they go, even when you travel with children. It has light weight, touch screen, and is super user friendly. Its 360 foldable feature makes it very adaptable to the setting you are using it at, regardless if the place your are using it at is tight or spacious. It has a clear and perfect screen size whether you like to read artciles/ books, or working on data analytics/review, or even sometimes put movies for children to watch. I highly recommend it as a professional working women and a mother.

I bought HP envy 2-in-1 with 16" screen which is one of the best laptops having a touch screen that can be rotated 360 deg. It has nice display and sound quality. I got one with 32 GB RAM and 2TB SSD and it works fine with a good battery backup. Also I got $300 off in an offer by Best Buy. I recommend this laptop.

This is an excellent device with plenty of RAM and storage. I enjoyed it a lot, Battery is the best of 4 (Lenovo Yoga 7i, Dell Inspiron 7640, and Lenovo Yoga 9i). My only complain is that under heavy load and lot of touching, the screen became black for less than a second time to time, it is like if it freeze and comes back (Less than a second but several times a day), Unlike the last HP I returned this one has a better wireless connectivity, It is not failing so hard as the previous one, so it will be a hit or miss, good luck. I have returned because of those issues. Thanks and god bless you.

Needed a new laptop after using my old one from 2013. I’ve been using this laptop for a month now and it’s amazing. It’s so fast, even with multitasking, and it works like a dream. I like that it’s also touchscreen. The lid can be opened and folded back all the way to make it into a tablet. The battery lasts an amazingly long time. The only thing I wish was better was that it was a little lighter, but it’s such a powerhouse that I don’t mind that much.

I bought this computer because it was on special, and I got about $400 off--I also picked it up locally. For what it offers, I think the computer is an excellent value. The backlit keyboard is excellent--bright, responsive, and easy to see. The battery life is outstanding. I can go for hours and hours. I also like the USB-A port on each side, and the USB-C ports. Having it charge by USB-C is also very convenient because I can plug it into a car socket or my lithium power station. The touch screen makes things easier, and the fact that the screen folds backwards is also very nice. I've put the computer into tablet mode and it's decent, but sometimes an accidential touch of the screen can throw it off. I've been using Apple computers for years and decided to get a WIndows-based machine because I just didn't want to spend the money on another Apple. This machine uses WIndows 11 Pro, and frankly, I'm not very impressed with this version of Windows. It can be kind of annoying navigating the options, and trying to push everything to the cloud is also frustrating. Why would I want to put my stuff out there in the cloud when I have a 2TB hard drive? The fact that Windows 11 is annoying isn't specific to this computer so no stars deducted. Apple can also be annoying from the same perspective in my opinion. Overall, this computer passes the test and make's the grade. I hope to use it for several years. It's most definately worth what I paid for it.

Excellent 2-in-1 overall. I would have liked a fingerprint reader but the camera does a good job with face detection and unlocking. So far battery life has been great. I got this as an open box and was a phenomenal deal considering the drive size and RAM. The screen is a little heavy causing the laptop to tip back if it's pushed back too much but that's just part of being a 2-in-1. I wish it was higher resolution but it's adequate. Haven't tried an external display yet. Overall quite snappy. I use it for development work and general purpose with Office, browsing, etc. So far so good and quite happy!

This is a very good laptop with a tremendous amount of storage and RAM. Although I have had it only a short time, it has performed well. My only complaint is that the screen occasionally will blink and reset. I have noticed that other reviewers have commented on the same issue. The size is nice and easy to view. The speakers are good. I'm not one who has to have concert quality sound. I'd give it 5 stars except for the screen glitch.

My only issue is that the separate number pad is gone. This makes the keyboard larger and slightly more difficult for me to hit the desired key. Other than that slight difference which I’m sure I’ll get used to I love my new laptop. I had an HP Envy prior to this new one and it lasted a good ten years or more so I thought why not buy the same brand again. I did spend extra and bought 32 gig and 2 terabyte model. It’s super fast and will no doubt last a long time.

I am happy with this laptop, the performance and speed is great. I did notice a little lag with the display with one specific application that is minimal and a none factor for my use case. I am running multiple performance intensive applications with multiple threads, database, and a web server locally on the machine doing analytics on millions of rows of data every few seconds and it is doing that with no issue. Even with all of that load running and it's a lot of intensive processing it handles it like a champ.i can hear the fan a little bit performance and speed, even with all that activity the system was still responsive as though it wasn't doing any work. I would recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a good laptop, You won't be disappointed. Also, I was surprised with the price for 2tb drive, 32 gig ram, i7 processor, that was a good deal.

My old HP Envy served me well for photo editing for years and also my music library but it's storage of one terabyte and being a windows 10 and 16 gigabit ram has slowed my progress. I made my mind up to update for something better. And this laptop has twice helped me with what I have been using and being solid state is really what I need. I can turn it on and be working on a photo in lightroom in less than a minute. That really makes time for me like I have not experienced with any laptop that I have owned a thumbs up. I also bought the Best Buy Club Membership. That has already made a difference for me because I like to read the reviews even after I have bought something. I bring this up because after having this for five weeks. When I opened that page for this laptop I see 300.00 off and I had to find my receipt and I went straight to the store. The employee greeted at the entrance and I told her what I had just seen. She asked me if I had the Club Membership and before I could answer she saw that on my receipt and she gave me the credit back on my credit card. I was in and out in five minutes and very much satisfied .And the employee at the service counter was very helpful and told me if I had any questions or things that I needed get figured out that I could stop in and would talk with me and times when it is less busy. So far I am real happy with my decision to buy this and buy it at Best Buy.

This laptop doesn’t not lag, overheats or dies fast. The charger is super portable and on top of that it is touch screen. Compare with other devices that offer similar features, this laptop is the best compared to price.

Brick-and-mortar still relevant: Best Buy does it.

Best Buy was very patiently helpful with my selection and purchase of this item. Basically, I was looking for a fairly large touch screen (old eyes), and 32GB RAM since I'm a scientist and analyze large data sets. The sales help not only found what I needed but at a great price, and there were many options available in terms of financing, peripherals, etc. The 2TB drive was icing on the cake. Brick-and-mortar stores are, imho, irreplaceable in selecting high tech equipment like this. And this help guy (forgot his name, sorry) was not afraid to offer up opinions based on his knowledge and experience, which I always seek out in a store--and which is getting harder to find as everything gravitates to online-only. Thank you, Best Buy.

The speed and touch screen and generous disk space are definite positives. However, for me, the keyboard layout and the display are a problem for me. The <PageUp> key requires hitting the <FN> key plus the up arrow key. The <End> key is 5 keys in on the top row of the keyboard and the <Home> key is 6 keys in. I miss having keys in their standard positions. Also, the screen size is a bit odd. They recommend setting the display at 125% which makes some things too big. Leaving at 100% a lot of things are too small for me to read. I find myself having to change the display settings frequently so I can either read my screen or so it's not so large it only displays a portion on the screen. On my previous HP laptop I did not experience any of these problems. I will be returning this laptop. Maybe it will work for some people who don't jump between applications the same way that I do.
