Hp makes a great computer. Love the touch feature. Lots of memory, fast processing, does not have a cd drive but you can buy a portable one and plug it right in. Has hdmi input and output so u can use it as a tv monitor. Love how the lock screen keeps changing and it asked you if you like the screen savor or not and from the it gives you more screen savers of the same design or scenery. Love how you can make your despot start menu look like regular start or tablet mode where all apps show up on the desktop. Only draw back is that the keyboard does not have a sleep shortcut button like my previous hp computer. All in all great computer. Upgraded from my hp touchsmart pc which i had for 8 years. They make great quaity computers

I am a registered nurse working on my masters degree online. I needed a desktop with speed, ease of use, and a large screen. I am so glad I ordered this computer. I am able to pull up my library resources and Microsoft Word at the same time on the 27" screen. The only complaint I have is the mouse and keyboard do not work at times while in the roll out tray on my desk, I assume the desk blocks communication? I do recommend this computer to anyone who is looking for an everyday computer !

Bought this on the recommendation of the Best Buy consultant. So far, it's pretty good, though I agree with the other reviewers about the speed--it takes longer than I expected to do some of the basics (it's hardly lagging; it's just not super fast--I wait a few seconds for something to open rather than click-and-open. Overall, not a deal-breaker.) I wondered if this monitor would be too big---but it's actually really great. Love the touch-screen aspect, too. Speakers/sound is really good. I'm using my old ergonomic keyboard and haven't had any trouble. I wish the USB ports were a little easier to get to. There's no CD/DVD drive (which I didn't think about at time of purchase but wish I had.) Overall, a good choice for me. There are probably features and functions I'm not even aware of yet. I'm a pretty basic user, so I don't have many needs beyond reliability and relative ease of use. This fits the bill.

I was looking to buy a powerful all-in-one computer and this it!! it has a beautiful display great sound with the Bang & Olufsen speakers and sound card. it has no sweet running any every day programs with the I-5 and all the ram but this not a gaming computer. can't run hardcore games. Also I was not impressed with the keyboard and mouse that come with it that had a lot of lag as well hard to get to respond with the computer which was running into problems with the touchscreen feature of the computer. this problem was a easy fix with buying a nice keyboard and mouse set from a company like Logitech which I recommend any way to get the most out the computer. The rep at Best Buy told me my computer came with a portable CD-ROM drive because it is not built into the computer but when I got home there was none in the box and nore did say it came with one. After getting mad a little I bought a plug and play DVD drive at Best Buy from LG and am very pleased with it's performance. another good upgrade was that while the factory speakers sound really well but if you get a nice set speakers for the computer like the ones I have from BOSE for hundred bucks then you will see the real beauty of what this computer can do. if you can see past the minor problems with this computer you will have a great computer to use for years to come and one that really shows how great Windows 10 is!

I love the fact that it's touch screen. The camera is outstanding. It moves very fast since we did have a 2006 model Apple desktop. The volume controls are superb. However I do not like the fact that since it's all in one there is no way to that you can copy disk everything is done thru usb that's the only downside to this all in one pc. This component for me is very essential because I have many cd's and photo disk that can't be used.

Sleek design and love how it looks. The picture quality is perfect, sound/speakers are awesome, and got a good deal when I purchased this when it went down on sale. Got so excited that I save about $150 when it went down on sale. The only downside, which is mostly I've seen & read in the reviews, are: (1) Keyboard and Mouse functionalities are not perfect; mouse most of the time is slow to respond. I'll take it from the other reviews that they've purchase a better keyboard and mouse and it worked perfectly (2) The other item that seems like a bother is the wireless internet connection seems to be cutting off intermittently. This is the common complain that I've seen in the reviews and have I've read it before I made the purchase, I'll most likely have doubts in buying this. I've search some solutions online, articles where they call HP Support, some suggestions online in turning off some settings in the network devices but I've never seen a permanent solution. But on thing I noticed is when it starts disconnecting connections (and annoyingly repeats over and over), one solution I notices is to disconnect and re-connect the wireless connection. If it does fail again, re-booting does helps. I just hope HP or Microsoft (for the Windows 10) can come up with a solution to take care of that. In the mean time, I keep on using the windows update hoping one day, one driver file will fix the issue. But overall, if you know about computers, it is a good buy and would still recommend. But if you are not as smart as the others who purchased this and knows the way around on fixing issues like what I posted in this review, you may want to see if somebody can help you during setup and show you how to troubleshoot incase issues come up.

It's a good computer, but as other reviewers noted: --some wifi issues (I have to disconnect and reconnect after a period of inactivity --the keyboard is annoyingly small, and I don't understand why the chiclet is standard for these --plus the keyboard can occasionally get sticky Otherwise, I like the touchscreen. My young son especially likes it. I love the size of the screen. Would have bought the 34 incher if it were a touchscreen. It's fast enough for my needs (word processing, Internet surfing, watching videos).

Great computer; absolutely love the touch screen & great sound. Note the wireless keyboard & mouse have a very basic problem : they don't work as configured - After hours of tech support & replacement hardware sent the issue is simple : take the wireless USB receiver out of the box & put it in an external USB slot - works fine now

Even though I wanted to wait until the very last minute to buy both a new computer, and Windows 10 one at that, my old computer was causing way too many problems. So a friend suggested that I go to Best Buy. Now I had research towers online, still trying to stay with Windows 7. When I had brought my research to Best Buy and showed it to the salesman, he said that he couldn't get anything like that and I would be better off looking at their stock. I did. This computer caught my eye right away. The only thing that held me back was that it was an all-in-one. At least the Geek Squad can come to my home and fix what needs fixing whenever. Also what sold me was the sleek design. It's a beautiful piece of art. And as far as Windows 10 is concerned, it has not given me a bit of trouble. Not that the learning curve was easy, but a couple of hours here, some research there, downloading a manual. It all helped me to get to know this new OS.

Overall this was a good machine. Great screen size and sensitive to touch. Lots of RAM and a string processor. But, a system is only as fast as its slowest part. The hard drive is a 5400 RPM HDD. This system would be better with a faster drive or an SSD.

We bought this computer for my 86 year old father-in-law. He really likes the large screen as it is easy to see and can be tilted. Since it's a touch screen it is much easier for him to use. He especially likes the way the windows can be zoomed in and out by using the pinch gesture. The system is fast and has no problem handling several tasks at a time. There's plenty of hard drive space, but he likes to burn his files to DVD so we purchased a separate DVD-RW for him. The computer/screen looks and feels quality. The only complaint we have is that the wireless keyboard and mouse that come with the system have a very cheap plastic feel and the keyboard keys are crammed in to 3/4 of the size of a regular full size keyboard.

Everything I expected and more. Beautiful clear, bright picture. No problems at all. Sets up in minutes. Love not having a bunch of wires to hook up. It is big so make sure you have enough room for it. The computer and my printer take up most of my desk.

Plenty fast, good size. Comes with software I don't want (it can be removed easily). The wireless keyboard should be back lit so I can see what I'm doing in the dark as I type from my easy chair. 12 GB ram and 1TB hard drive are great. I'm a happy camper.

Keyboard, Ports & Mouse Lacking, Otherwise 5 Stars

The only reason I gave this PC four stars is because the included keyboard and mouse are not very good and not of the same quality as the All-in-One. The keyboard has a cheap feel and erratic connection to the PC - sometimes slow, sometimes fast, sometimes repeats keys. The mouse was the same - cheap feel and not very sensitive. So I got a gaming mouse and wired mechanical keyboard. Now I'm very happy. The PC is very easy to use, powerful enough for my needs and the screen is wonderful ~ love the touch screen (I find that I use the touch screen for some things and the mouse and keyboard for other tasks). My only other gripe on the PC is that the USB ports are limited, so buy yourself a hub with 4 or 6 ports to save your self the pain of unhooking/hooking - which is awkward since the ports are on the back of the PC. Also please note this does not come with a DVD drive so you will to get one of those separately.

Great computer..but issues with wireless mouse February 6, 2016 PCPC The computer itself is great, but I do wish it had a built in disk drive. I was unaware of this upon my purchase. An external one can be purchased but for this kind of money I would have thought it was included. The wireless mouse and keyboard are cheaply made and I am already using a seperately purchased mouse instead. I've only had the computer since early January so to have this issue with both the mouse and occasionally the keyboard is frustrating. If the Geek Squad plan I purchased will not replace both of these things, I'll be needing to shell out more money for a more reliable keyboard also. Like I said, the computer itself both runs and looks great. Set up was easy, screen quality is impressive, but should I recommend this to anyone, I would make sure to warn them about the lack of a disk drive for movies/CD's/programs, etc and also make them aware of the issues I've experienced with the mouse and keyboard.

The computer runs as I expected given the specs. Out of the box the speakers didn't work and I had to download an audio driver. Just called HP customer support since it wouldn't connect to the Internet in the morning the last two days, which was the third time in the less than two weeks that I have had the computer. I was told that this was due to do a Microsoft update but I'll see how it works tomorrow morning. There are several USB ports on the front under the screen, which is helpful. The mouse that came with the computer is essentially nonfunctional and the keyboard is small and not really practical for anyone who does much typing. Replaced both with a combination unit from Logitech. HP should really be ashamed of themselves for providing such a cheap mouse and keyboard. I enjoy the big screen and the computer is a big improvement over the five-year-old HP all-in-one it replaced.

Right away we started having issues with the keyboard. For some reason it multiplies every letter we type and sometimes won't even type. We changed out batteries, turned off and on, but nothing worked. The issue would just come and go. One day, during a WINDOWS UPDATE, the computer quit working. We then had to call HP support. Once support walked us through another restore- the touch screen started to have ghost prints all over it. This meant that the screen looked like it was being touched when it wasn't AND we couldn't gain ANY control over the computer. We restarted, rebooted and even did a restore- nothing worked. I was on the phone for over 4 1/2 hrs with HP Support and it was an absolute horrible experience. They kept cold transferring me to the wrong departments, I kept getting cut off in mid conversation (telling the same story over and over each time I am transferred, mind you), no one would listen to the full issue before transferring me, etc. This went on for weeks. I was then told that I had to wait until 30 days AFTER signing up for extended warranty in order to have my issues fixed. Every time I called, I got a different story. Not one person apologized for the inconvenience this had caused, even after I told them I conducted my business on this desktop. They only wanted to sell me something or transfer me off of their line. We ended up having to send it off and have the motherboard replaced as well as the touchscreen. Now, don't get me wrong- this computer is nice! We just got a bad touch screen on ours that really caused us a major headache for quite some time. Any time you buy electronics, please keep an extended warranty in mind. Yes, they are expensive (I paid over $500 for ours- and it cannot be cancelled. If you sell the computer- the warranty goes with it). It is worth getting extended warranty especially with more expensive items or items with touchscreens. More problems could arise and it is just best to be protected like we were. Otherwise, it would've cost us just to talk to the tech plus the maintenance, shipping, labor fees. Also- call HP and tell them to STOP ALL WINDOWS 10 UPDATES. Even the HP reps said that so many of their customers computers are crashing due to these updates. FYI- This computer wasn't the only one affected by the update. Both of our laptops crashed as well. I gave this 4 stars only due to the keyboard and touchscreen issues we had. Although I hope this review helps, I don't want it to deter you from buying this desktop. It could have happened to anyone.

Computer screen quality and size is excellent....great for streaming movies and tv. Touch screen is really not necessary but processor is super fast and runs smoothly. Sound (band and olufsen speakers) is less than average for music but fine for everything else. Mouse and keyboard feel like they could be better quality but only time will tell. The keyboard could be a little bigger but I guess they could always be replaced if necessary.
