Amazing value. We use this in a family of 7 and we can't complain on the convenience and ease of use and setup

I bought this printer on sale for black Friday. At first the setup software couldn't connect to my network, but I downloaded HP print and scan doctor from HP and it quickly solved the problem. I didn't have any issues when installing on a second PC. The setup also detected that there was a firmware update and applied it without issue. My needs are very basic so I can't say much about it's photo printing or more advanced capabilities. But I did print one full page on photo paper containing 4 photos using HP Smart. The quality was very good for this class of printer with no lines or artifacts, although it could have used a little color and brightness correction that more expensive printers offer. It wasn't particularly fast, taking close to 2 minutes, and used about 10 percent of the color ink. I then scanned it using the highest quality settings and the preview was pretty quick, but the full scan took 2 to 3 minutes. It did look pretty good, though. It's Windows 10 software, HP Smart, is very easy to use and handles all of my printing and scanning needs. The printer was instantly recognized by all of my word processor software and by Google Chrome. The setup process also installed what I assume to be more sophisticated scanning software, but it is unable to run on my PC. Fortunately, HP Smart handles my scanning needs just fine. The printer seems to be fairly fast for text and spits out a double sided text document in just a couple of seconds with minimal noise. My much more expensive Canon printer would "whirr" and click for several seconds before it even started printing. The text print quality is very good even when using the draft settings. I've printed about 20 pages so far and the print gauge has dropped about 20 percent using the starter black ink cartridge. If you plan to do a lot of photo printing I suspect you might want to consider a more advanced (and much more expensive) printer. But for mostly text and the occasional photo, you can't go wrong with this relatively inexpensive printer.

The printer is easy to use. I got it for a good price and it’s very efficient. The quality is good & it saves ink. Good price.

I don’t give any inkjet printer five stars because of the expense of the cartridges. But I have to say that this was one of the easiest printers to set up I have ever had. It is replacing a Canon printer whose setup instructions were almost impossible to understand Or follow. This new HP prints seamlessly from all my devices; The scanner is also easy to use, and the copier works great. I use a laser printer for most of my needs, but every once in a while I need to print something in color or scan or copy, so this little machine fills the bill nicely.

I was worried at first because I read reviews about this printer that said that you HAVE TO SIGN UP for a monthly plan for ink. However, that's not true, you have an option to override a monthly plan. The set up was easy, the print quality is good but when printing pictures the quality isn't the best but still descent. I've printed quite a few things since I've got the printer and it's still running off the ink it came with. In my opinion this is an excellent printer for what I paid for it and it functions as one would expect a printer to function.

This printer is absolutely amazing for the price I paid, I mean I had a much older model envy, so I knew I'd dig this anyways.

got it on sale fr next to nothing and it came with credits for ink.. it also came with starter ink. Its wireless and prints great photos and whatever else. Im really enjoying it. website gives you a paper history and when they will send you ink. You pay for the amount of printing you do, I took the 5o pages for 2.99 a month.. they have a bigger program too...I only need that one on holiday months like now for my card making. customer service WAS GREAT. they explained everything to me.....

I love this printer. It has great quality printing plus the fact that it’s wireless and has 2 sided printing is a great bonus.

Set up the printer in about 10 mins. It prints fast it has a bright and smooth color. It's smaller to stay out of the way.
