I mainly use ths as a scanner. The scanner works great. The copier is great also. I rarely use it as a printer, when I did the print quality was good. I hadn't printed anything in 2 months. I had an emergency print job and the black was too light to read. I bought a new HP in the box cartridge and it still doesn't print black. I checked the old cartridge and it still as black ink in it. This printer is one year and 6 days old...so it is out of warranty. My last inkjet all in one was not an HP and it lasted for 11 years with more scanning and less printing; I also had a laser HP fail at the same time. I am steering clear of HP printers, the computers are still great.

I bought this printer for my son for college. He said he uses it for typical school papers and it works great for that purpose. He does not use it for pictures or graphic intensive documents, so cannot comment on that. Had no problem setting it up.

I bought this for my 13 year old daughter and this printer has been wonderful. Did not disappoint. She printed off a bunch of stuff for school. Front and back, color, black and white.... whatever you needed. Would recommend.

I'm so satisfied with this printer it is easy to set up and connect and it makes printing easier. on top of that there is also the app where you have all of functions right on your phone. I am for sure going to buy one more

The set up was super easy even on Chromebooks. My daughter printed a photo and it looked fantastic, it didnt look like it was struggling. It actually prints double sided without human interaction (no flipping the paper by hand).

Very good printer. The speed at which it downloads is great. The quality of the print is decent for the price you pay. It can be complicated to set up with pc ,however, but to connect to the phone it is very easy. I would recomend.

this printer is great for the price it was offered and has good print quality. the Instant Ink offer is added on. thought the print quality is high the print speed seems slower compared to other printers out in market - which is why it's not a 5 starer.

I gave it 4 stars because it’s a basic printer. It works fine and blows my old one away. The quality of the prints are about average. I do like that I can print wirelessly from my phone. I also print from my laptop using a cord.

Bought during the black friday deals. Purchased for cheap and the ink cartridges are very reasonably priced. Would recommend for anyone that wants to upgrade from their basic printer. Has scanner which comes in handy also.

Disclaimer: got it for a great deal during black Friday. I couldn't ask for anything more for the price. As a matter of fact, i couldn't ask for a lot of what i got for the price i paid. Instant ink. That all i gotta say.

As it happened, my old printer died just in time to score on a new printer at Black Friday prices. My new HP Envy 5014 works great for what I need. It was so easy to install I did it myself and I'm technically challenged.

Hard to set up the wireless feature. I need to print from my phone and even tho it worked twice, it's now not printing and I haven't changed anything in the set up more. Great value for the money if it would print on demand like it's supposed to.

I like a few things about this printer and only have two small complaints so far. Pros: -It's pretty easy to set up once you download the app or get to the 123.hp.com site -Super cheap on black friday -prints as it should, scans as it should and has a touch screen display (very basic) Cons -you have to use the app on your phone (but can also be viewed as a plus because you can scan straight to your phone) -supplied ink doesn't last long at all and the ink cartridges are as much as the printer was -cant get my computer to receive scan but that is likely because my Windows is in "s" mode which I would bet money is no fault of the printer but worth knowing if you want to keep S mode on

I got a great printer for a Black Friday special price. Ser up was a little confusing ,once I worked through that it was a breeze. I even got a $10 credit for HP Ink in the Box and received a $5 ink credit from Best Buy at the time of purchase .

I love this printer. It was easy to set up and connect to my internet. The colors are great with this printer. I paid $29,99 for this inkjet printer with the regular price being $119.00. Awesome price for this printer

Love everything about it, didn’t think I would use it as much as I do. Extremely easy to use and set up. Wireless capability is a game changer and the price point is on par with its value.
