Older model with fewer features

The printers look very similar but the features are different. Price wise, you'll get much better value for the 5255 over this one (5014). For $20 (RRP), you get a network ready printer, a duplexer, and cloud print capability. BestBuy had this baby on sale for a steal at $29.99 (RRP: $119.99) during their Black Friday 2019 sale. But the model I wanted (5255) was only $20 off the RRP: $139.99. I ended up returning this without even opening the box because my heart was set on the networking capability and cloud print. The downfall of this printer is the time it takes print the 1st page; I won't sugarcoat it, it's slow at around 15 seconds, and will only output 7 pages per minute (color) and 10 pages per minute (black and white). The good news is that a newer model came out, the 5260, which put the 5255 on sale (Jan 2020) for 1/2 off! Yeah baby!

Great printer for beginners and or college student

Has a wonderful program that you choose or not choose to obtain, where you never run out of ink and don’t have to worry about buying at the last minute for a high cost and you can print from anywhere directly to your printer.

Really like the app that allows you to see how much ink you have and the auto shipments arrive before you need it!

Great printer for the price!

I was looking for an inexpensive printer to do occasional print jobs. This is on perfect if you don’t print a lot but also don’t want to have to run to Fedex office every time you need to print a couple pages. Love the scanner too. Works well with the HP app.

This is the first printer I ever owned so I dont know if it's good or bad but the cartridges are going for 30 or 40 which is more than the printer costs.
