The first ink catridge lasted pretty long, Im only printing black & white documents for real estate contracts etc; nothing fancy. After I replaced the first cartridge for the second one it ran out of ink faster than the first time.

I have it hooked up to wifi, but I can't get it to print. (I hear a noise like it is printing but nothing happens.If I make a copy directly on the printer. The copy does print???????????

purchased at Black Friday and the quality of the product is very poor watch how much you spend because you will get a lower value with this product but it does work well

This unit did not work out of the box. It printed streaks of lines and seemed to have bad injet cartridge or some issue with the printer. I am going to return it.

Worst printer I've ever had. Lasted for 175 pages. Now it won't print unless you open and close paper tray for each page you want to print.

It is challenging to connect the printer with computers. I don't recommend this printer if you don't have knowledge about networking and wireless connection.

The HP printer has a great printing response to my device. The quality of the HP photo paper could have better quality though. The all purpose paper that I used was light and faded in quality.

I have been using this till today and working very good. I recommend this to everyone who needs to print few documents at home. It prints quietly and has a mobile app through which we can print from mobile device as well. It also prints photos just like a professional print service does. Instead of paying them tens of $$$, printing through this saved me a lot of money.

Its was working fine when I bought it in Nov.2019 and now in April 2020 it disconnect from my HP laptop. I used HP scan doctor and no help.

This printer was not worth the money. Poor print quality and inability of the printer to access its own web services for the print monitoring.

Paper drawer wouldn't close after loading paper. I couldn't get it to connect to my chromebook.

I really wanted this printer to work for me. I got it on sale for a great price and thought it would work well. I didn't use it right away, but when I went to attempt to sync it up with my computer, the computer wouldn't recognize it. I even attached a cable to it and still nothing worked. I had to get a new laptop, because mine had died, and it still would not work with the new computer. I have never printed anything off this printer except for the test print. Just never worked for me.

This is why it's a $20 printer. The printer wants you to download all these apps and downloads so you have to use HP's ink service which they will more than recoup their possible losses on a cheap printer. You cannot even scan a document and send it through USB to your computer, the "app" must do it wirelessly for you. Sadly my Canon printer quit working after 5 years, I may switch back to Canon if I can find the specs I need.

I bought this printer because it was marked down quite a bit and it seemed like a good deal from a well-known company. It worked great the first few months. Easy to use, great color. Less than a year later it stopped printing in color. I bought a new color ink cartridge thinking that was the problem, it wasn't. I only used this printer a few times. I just went out and bought a Canon printer. Hopefully it will last longer than this one. I would not recommend this printer to anyone.

Whites are printed with a green hue. It’s really awful. But it will do for black and white school work which is why we bought it.

This was okay. Used it maybe 3 times and then after that it crapped out on me. But for the 40 bucks I spent I wasn’t expecting much.

If you need a basic scanner/printer it is a good value play...I have had issues with the driver and had to reinstall several times

having trouble connecting to WiFi.. a $30 best buy black Friday purchase that has only served to waste hours of my life.

Very difficult to get hooked to the internet. I have WiFi only and have never been able to use it. Instructions written for geeks.

The HP Envy 5014 Wireless would not connect to my desktop by wifi or cable. Best Buy couldn't help. Hp.com vertical assistant took me through many step. Nothing would make the printer connect. I finally threw it away, was nothing more than a door stop. Money down the drain. I went to Staple and bought a replacement.
