First of all I will state that I'm a computer literate grandmother, but not technology trained or proficient. I have not had this printer long enough to comment fully on all the printing capabilities, but so far so good. Using double sided printing seems to be a default and thus was incredibly easy and saves paper. Printing in draft mode is perfectly acceptable and saves ink. Set up was very easy. By following the step-by-step instructions I was able to set it up and connect it to a desktop with windows 7, a laptop with windows 7, a laptop with windows 8.1, and an iPad 2 - all without a minute of hassle. It took less than an hour from the time I opened the box to the time all my devices were capable of printing.

good, quick, readable print ... only problem is that the paper tray isn't readily visible, and has to be removed to check to see how much paper is in the tray, or what color I'm using, or which side ... for this reason I rated it down one star. Otherwise I am very pleased with the machine.

I like this printer because it's color, prints on both sides of paper, and has scanner. Also, all features work with Windows 8 (and also my iPhone). Also, very affordable (~$100). It WAS cumbersome to install, but I was able to fumble through all and verify that all the features worked properly.

I bought one for myself after buying one for my son's family. The Envy 5600 is a great value and high quality product. All computers on the home network have wireless printing, scanning, copying, etc. capability with one device. Would definitely buy again.

I bought the printer for my dad who is 84 years old, so was looking for an easy to use, but quality printer. HP always comes through! My dad loves it, it's not too complicated, and he's happily printing photos and documents.

We needed a new printer because our old one had a high pitched noise that bothered our dog's ears. We changed to this one and it is quieter, makes good quality printing and was easy to set up. I wish the actual size of it was a little smaller but the overall quality of it is good

Love this printer especially for the price. Easy to use. Very nice copies and easy to send scanned documents. Have not yet found way to scan multiple pages which is a drawback.

I was going to buy the model just below this one but after seeing them and talking to an on-site HP rep I decided to get the HP Envy 5660. It is very easy to use, fast, and the print quality is excellent. This is a great machine for the price.

I was looking for an all around printer that could print good quality photos. It prints documents in good quality and quickly. The photos are also very good. It was everything I wanted in a printer. The wireless feature was simple enough to set up and is a convenient bonus.

Needed a new printer + changed brands. Prints well at a great price. Also bought the HP monthly ink replenish deal that's worth it. Much cheaper than buying cartridges at stores when you don't do that much printing.

So I was trying to get a small printer because I had no room in my room but, it wasn't to small or too big. Also this prints and scans pictures and documents great. Also I had this for a bout 3 months so I should know stuff about it.

Love to print from my laptop anywhere in the house to the printer. Have not fully explored the capability of the printer as far as invitations on card stock, but sure I will soon. Was easy to install on my phone, laptop, and iPad.

Awesome printer at a great price! Super easy to setup and install. In less than 10 minutes the family was printing away on our laptops, IPads, and mobile devices. For $69 bucks on sale, this is a no brainer! Grab one while you can.

My favorite feature of this printer is that it is wireless! I love that I can print from my tablet or laptop. It was very easy to set up and get printing. I am HP all the way when it comes to printers. Having a clean print head with each cartridge is a plus in a household full of cat hair. My last printer was an HP Photosmart C4100 and it finally just quit. I got a good 10 years out of that one. The Instant Ink service is a great bonus , especially since I do not have an office retailer in my town.

Easy setup amd go. Very satisfied with the copy and scanning capability. Print is clear and reliable. I don't print that often(less than 10 pages a month) so not sure how long cartridges will last. Hopefully they won't dry out. Good value,

I needed an inexpensive printer with features to match my printer at home and this HP met all my expectations. It was easy to setup and within minutes of plugging in the USB cable I was able to print. The wireless feature is a luxury that I will explore later.

    Light-duty Home Office Use

Our little, light-duty Envy 5660 prints good-looking documents and photos, and, when I use it with HP’s Instant Ink program, it prints out color pages at a surprisingly reasonable cost per page. Additionally, by calling up HP's print apps on the front-panel touch screen I can print content from a variety of websites. I can also print files directly from a memory card, and preview the images on its 2.65-inch LCD before printing. The two-sided printing, is a welcome extra, as well as the separate photo tray that can hold 15 sheets of 4-by-6-inch photo paper, so I don't have to swap out paper to switch between printing documents and printing photos. For scanning, paper handling is limited to manually placing pages one at a time on the letter-size flatbed. Since we are going to print a few hundred pages—at most—each month, HP’s ink program allows for a very reasonable per-page ink costs.
