Hp makes the best printers and easy to setup and use. Have used hp for years.

Easy to install, on multiple OS but could not get to run on one desktop with Windows 7. Quick set up.

Nice little printer at a great price. Easy to setup and minimal ink cartridges. Very decent print quality on both paper and photo paper. Scanning and copying features are a bonus when needed, although I don't see myself using them much at all.

My use is home use only. I primarily print in black text and my children may print a picture for school. My page use is 100 pages a month or less. Pros: fairly quick and quiet, simple scanning; straight forward touch screen; easy to set up, image and scan quality above average. Cons: single page scans only with no document feeder. Three color combined ink cartridge and single black. Photo quality is above average, not great. Limited functions for scanning. Big point for me. Even though the machine uses traditional ink cartridges versus the newer more efficient system of filling the machine's ink wells that is seen in some higher priced/higher volume machines, the volume that I use it for is ideal for this type of ink system. If you don't use the printer more frequently 50-100 pages a month and the printing doesn't vary in color and black, you risk drying the machines ink wells found in the other systems.

I bought this to replace my Cannon pixma printer. I can't believe how the technology has improved over the past few years! It felt like Christmas to me once I got this all plugged in! The design is attractive; bigger than I thought it would be, but still looks nice. The touchscreen is really neat, and I LOVE the app you can download on your phone/tablet/etc. to print wirelessly from anywhere! The print quality is great, and it prints quickly and relatively quietly. The scan function also works fast and well. I'm excited to use the double sided printing feature, but haven't needed to yet. I was also so excited to see how cheap the ink cartridges are, and there's a monthly service you can subscribe to as well that provides you ink based on your usage plan. I am so glad my old printer broke so I could get this one!

I needed a printer to handle the basics. Went with this model over the 4520 because this one has a pull out tray. Quiet operation & scanning is easier then with my last printer. Only had it for a week but far it's doing what I need.

Love this printer it was easy to set up and works great for what i needed it for. The picture quality is subpar but I’m not really printing pictures I’m printing coupons. Plus HP instaink has been a amazing as i print ALOT!

Setting up the printer was easy. I have not used all the features. I was more interested in duplex printing, scan, and wireless features. I did notice it uses up more ink even when set to draft mode compared to my previous hp printer. Since I don't print daily, it's not a problem. I've had the printer for 2 months and have not had any connectivity issues. I've unplugged the printer for 1-2 days, and it still picks up my network the next time I power it up. I appreciate that you can use this printer wireless and with a USB cable for older computers. I would recommend for home use and students.
