It's been 3 months since I had this laptop. I looked up the review and then made a decision to purchase it , hence I have logged in back to ensure I give my honest feedback and it help others. Benefits : Touch screen at affordable price - My kids love it as they play games, match puzzles, learn maths Fast Performance - boots up very quickly Good hinges : It's my 4th hp laptop I have used. Hinges on hp laptop are the worst of all other manufacturer in market. I had my 3 hp laptop broken and 1 not only broke the hinges it hit the lcd cable and the short-circuit broke the laptop and it never powered on again. I lost my 600$ in 4 months. So I ensured i get an laptop with good hinges and this one had 1 big strong hinge at the center ( rather than two tiny hinges at the sides ). Problems I have faced : Intermittent internet connection : Infact there were times when my friends old junk pc could pick up the wifi signal but not this computer. I had to reinstall everything twice, I blv there was an property to shutdown wireless hardware for battery performance, which I switched off and it worked better. Also Luckily I shifted my apt and I never saw any disconnection after that. So in case if you have the same issue, check the property setting and test your system at other home/office to see if that's an router issue. Recommendation : Get a wireless mouse, as it would be little difficult using the mouse pad on the laptop. The laptop gets hotter quickly, still it doesn't shutdown itself. Overall : Perfect laptop for me. Worth every dollar spent on it.

I was experiencing issues with the mouse getting stuck and the processor taking long to perform basic tasks. I called HP and they installed some updates and the mouse issues were gone. The processor is Average to o.k., I still have issues when using a big program like Adobe Photoshop. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

Laptop is light weight for traveling, touch screen is really nice, still getting use to the mouse but am loving it. Processor is especially fast. I was skeptical about buying refurbished technology but it has been great, with no problems and Geek Squad grants service upon purchase.

Windows 8 definitely needs a touch screen and good thing this laptop has one. The backlit Keyboard is very convenient. Windows 8 or the processor isn't the quickest. My windows 7 PC with a Pentium E5200 outperforms at startup when loading google chrome or Microsoft word. The mouse touchpad texture isn't very good and isn't as usable as one found on a macbook pro. This laptop would benefit from having dedicated left and right click buttons as that would alleviate my problems with it.

Overall I love this laptop For the price it has 6GB memory, 64 bit operating system, 10 pt. touch screen, back lighting, AMD A10 - 5745, HD graphics, 2.10 GHz, 50 GB lifetime cloud storage...blah...blah...blah. For all it has, it is not super fast but I can work with all sorts of screens open and it hasn't bogged down yet. It is perfect for my needs. I would buy this same laptop again.

This laptop does everything I need it to do, and has enough memory and storage to meet all my needs. The biggest bonus is the touch screen, which makes it very easy to use. No complaints whatsoever.

I needed a new computer to use for business and personal use. Something that was graphics intensive, and capable of handling multiple tasks at the same time. The processor in this is awesome. As stated, the wireless adapter is known to have issues connecting the first time, but once the drivers are updated, it is typically fixed. The backlit keyboard feature is AWESOME. Solid machine. I am also new to Windows 8, and the touch screen made it SO easy for me to adjust to it. You will not be disappointed in this purchase!

I absolutely love my laptop, it was refurbished and It performed as if it was fresh never been touched. Great quality, performance and look with an amazing price. I will recommend this product to anyone new or refurbished ONLY from Best Buy.

The audio is excellent. Didnt expect much but it turn out to be great. Touch screen is also good and smooth. The only thing really missing is a drive. I understand that everything is cloud related or downloadable, but sometimes you just need to do the old fashion way and pop a movie or a cd into it. Overall great computer for the money paid.

I bought this computer three years ago when I started my business. I have not had any problems and it has continued to perform great in all that time. Easy to use and full of useful features. Highly recommended.

We had a problem with the monitor. Thank goodness it was still within the 90 days. No problem with the geek squad though they handled the repair just took two weeks. A little inconvenient since it was needed for school work.

This product is worth the money. Touch screen is great. TouchPad is somewhat difficult to use. Overall this is good laptop computer .

I love this machines overall preformance. The touch screen can be too sensitive during game play but still a great feature.

All has gone well. Happy with the product. Only problem was with a damaged box upon arrival.

I really like this computer. The only thing really missing is a dvd rom drive.

The computer was ordered on Cyber Monday, and with not enough forethought. While I liked the touch screen concept, I needed to have a DVD drive for my line of work. BEST BUY! was great about exchanging the device, and allowing an exchange/upgrade right at their store!
