Wow! What a step up from my last computer, (HP Pavillion 6000) then again that computer lasted me 10 years. I can't complain I use my computer for DJ work as well as a home business, net research, and marketing. So when my trusty workhorse finally called it quits I had a lot of ground to cover in my search for a new system. Like everyone I was on a small budget and wanted upgrades that were only available on more expensive systems. Lighted keyboard was on top of my list mostly because working a dark party was difficult before. Now its just amazing to see these keys glow. next on my list was larger memory 6-8GB/500-1TB for a faster experience and room to burn. Then Touchscreen was a extra I really wanted, This system has it all. Now back to budget I probably would not have looked twice at this system if it wasn't for the Outstanding offer offered from Best Buy and HP. Now here is the best things I'm loving about my new HP computer The sound is truly amazing, it says it has a subwoofer all I know is its fuller sound. It looks great, light to carry, and WiFi / Bluetooth (no the old system didn't have that either), & touchscreen for under $400. Ok the only thing I didn't get was a DVD optical drive. Something I can recycle from an older system or buy for under $20. and the touch pad takes some getting used to.

Speed and like new refurbished laptop. Great sound and great price. Quality build beware that there is no DVD Drive.

This laptop was everything I was looking for but the mouse pad is flimsy. I have no idea how to use it, while I'm typing essays it won't let me highlight the words. The right and left click works whenever it wants to. However, everything else is perfect the touch screen is fantastic. The battery life is about 5 hours if you switch adjust the battery settings. All in all the laptop is amesome, an upgrade from my seven year old Asus laptop.

I went in because I desperately needed a new computer and was hesitant sbout a touch screen. I am however in love with it. The big screen, (playing games is so fun for my son now) The speed and amount of memory. Great product

This is my second refurbished electronic from Best Buy & I haven't been let down yet!!!I can't say enough good things about the service I have received, I had issues to start with but nothing that Best Buy couldn't correct. The laptop kept freezing but an over night visit @ the geek squad and all problems solved. The crew at the Geek Squad have gone above & beyond to make sure I was satisfied, especially Daniel, what an asset employee, he was very patient & knew just what I needed help in. He went above & beyond to be sure I was happy, and in this day & age where customer service is so important...'he shined". Please make sure the higher ups are aware of the awesome personnel that are dealing with the consumer & what a wonderful job they have done for me... I will highly recommend to anyone & will return many more times...Very happy with my purchase. This laptop couldn't be any better if I bought it new...it does everything I need it for, its very fast, the sound is awesome & I love having the back lit keys. I am absolutely in love with the HP Envy. The touchscreen, the size, the sound. All of it. Much different than my previous one. I won't go to another brand after this.

Computer works great, and although it isn't used much, the touchscreen is a nice add on. However, the battery doesn't seem to last very long in my opinion and the mouse pad occasionally gets a mind of its own. Bottom line, it has a few quirks but is a good laptop for the money.

My laptop crashed so I had to purchase a new one quickly. I was looking for another HP. I was at one Beast Buy and my wife was at another one. I was looking at this exact computer to purchase when my wife discovered the HP - Geek Squad Certified Refurbished 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop - AMD A10-Series - 6GB Memory - 750GB HDD – Silver. I was a great value and is a great laptop.

Great computer, speed is good for basic usuage, and its not too heavy. The only flaw is that the mouse can be a little hard to grt use to and work with

I kept hearing "no you can't get a touch screen and lighted keyboard for under $500", and this item just doesn't exist with 6mb memory and HD. Ha! The great customer first service at Glendora and Orange presented this HP. Light and feature packed laptop and as a bonus got an HP printer for $19. Oh as an added surprise this laptop has an awesome sound to it. Music and videos have a more fuller rounded sound a little deepened bass from a small subwoofer

Great 2 in one laptop and tablet, easy to use, windows 10. Not as heavy

Computer was refurbished and was in good condition although the mouse pad does act weird at times the touch screen is a great feature

I really enjoy this laptop. It fits all my needs, and has a touch screen, which is a plus. I use it for normal things, school, light internet gaming, and some Nerflix. My only complaint is that sometimes the mouse jumps around the screen after heavy usage. Overall, I love this laptop, it's got great features that make it worth the price.

This laptop is perfect for work or school or just casually internet surfing. I highly recommend it!

Excellent computer for the money however no disk capability

I ordered this laptop 5 days ago, I got it yesterday I was so happy because I've got it fast " 5 stars for the delivery" I opened the box today, it looked neat and as new " look wise" "5 stars for the look" I plugged it in then turned it on, it ran good, I checked the battery logo it was at 5% and charging. I set up my account and stuff then I went to HP website to check the warranty, IT SAYS IT WILL EXPIRE ON SEPTEMBER 8, 2015 !!!! I WAS SHOCKED... Because on BestBuy website it says 1 YEAR WARRANTY. Then I checked the battery logo again after like 2 hours it was on 42% and it stocked there... no more charging " battery is not charging" I said to myself let's give it another hour I did that and it was still on 42% and not charging so I took the power cord out from the laptop, It turned off!!! like there was no battery in it... I used the HP battery check APP it says that I need to replace the battery ASAP ... well I thought it's GEEG SQUAD CERTIFIED AND TESTED... I guess NOT. Forgot to mention that I had like 30 windows updates I installed them but every time I restart the PC, they " The same 30 windows update " install again and again and again... like 6 times and every time they take about 30 minutes... Now it's Sunday 8:00 A.M. I'm drinking my coffee and waiting till 9:30 so I can g to BestBuy to return it... I hope that they don't give me TROUBLE...

This is a really nice looking laptop and I really wanted to like it. But the battery wouldn't charge and I had trouble maintaining a wifi connection. So unfortunately I had to return it. Being a refurbished device I would have expected these types of issues to have been resolved. I was really disappointed.

Have only had it a few days but so far it's pretty awesome, I was browsing through a couple of laptops but when I saw this had a backlit keyboard that's what sold me because I like to use my desktop in the dark so this having that was a bonus. Windows 8 is still meh to me since desktop is 7 I much prefer that but all in all with decent specs and a backlit keyboard this is a good value.

We purchased two of these laptops and are perfectly happy with their performance. They are not top of the line pieces but are much better than the base models at the same price point. Being geek squad certified was a huge reason we bought refurbished.
