This laptop has great specs for the ins expensive price. I couldn't find anything close to it in the new ones. It looked brand new as well, would never know it was refurbished. Very happy with it.

If you are OK with the resolution resembling that of an old or low end cell phone then this is ok. I bought an open box item so there was not a unit on display. It serves its purpose.

I got it during black friday sale 2015 as my boyfried. It supposed be a workforce notebook and would last pertty long time.

He loves the hp laptop. He uses the laptop everyday.

I read the reviews and decided to purchase the refurb as I wanted the biggest bang for the buck. The number seven key doesn't work then the number three died. Not happy.

This was my first refurbished laptop purchase. I've purchased refurbished electronic devices on Amazon Warehouse before and received great products at excellent prices. So I decided to take the plunge with Best Buy on this. Especially since it comes w/ a 1 yr warranty. Plus u can return it for any reason within 14 days for a full refund. Very low risk involved. It arrived timely and packaged nicely. It looked brand new. I plugged it in to charge for a bit & then started it up. Things were going well until in the midst of setting up my profile when I hit the "1" key it went down and never came back up! Although it still functioned, it really bothered me. So I called the Geek Squad to notify them of the issue. They were so nice & helpful. They told me to bring it in and I could request to have it be repaired or simply return it for a full refund and order/buy something else. I went to Best Buy the very next day. The Geek Squad employee apologized for my experience. He said normally their refurb's are good. That I'd just gotten a bad one. He said otherwise this laptop was an excellent choice and lots of bang for my buck. He refunded my money. Then I went home and ordered a brand new Toshiba laptop from them. Same size as this one but 2 less gigs of ram. But a little cheaper. I really appreciate the customer service provided. That's why I gave this 3 stars at least. I'm sure most of the refurb's they sell are good. I just happened to get a dud.
